dc.description | Through this document, valuable information is condensed on new strategies to improve the agronomic management of the banana sector to solve a problem of the proliferation of diseases caused by phytopathogenic organisms in the soil ecological alternatives have emerged that are used for the correct disinfection of agricultural soils. Ozone is a product that does not leave a residue, since when it is applied it immediately turns into oxygen and prevents contamination of the atmosphere. The effect of ozone on microbial activity is selective, that is, it decreases the populations of phytoparasites or phytopathogens, but at the same time it favors the increase of saprophagous and antagonistic organisms. By applying ozone, it is possible to achieve a slower development of the fungus and a more delayed sporulation. It was obtained as results that the use of this type of ozonized water contributes positively to the crop, quality water, free of pathogenic microorganisms, but lacking in disinfectant capacity in the soil. When ozone concentrations of less than 2 ppm are applied, it is possible to provide water free of pathogenic microorganisms, allowing plants to grow in a favorable and sterile environment for cultivation. At the end of this document it is concluded that the disinfection of soils, although it is true, is an agricultural task that is not commonly carried out in the banana plantations of Ecuador, however it is highly advisable to implement it because its results are reflected in the stage of the harvest, always carrying out the appropriate dosages since its excess or deficit could cause different problems in the microbial activity of the soil. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
