The impact caused by COVID-19 worldwide forced the educational system to implement new teaching-learning methodologies, for which it has been necessary to adopt digital resources with the help of information and communication technologies. In other words, in many public institutions they welcomed applications such as social networks, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, etc. In addition, virtual learning environments such as: Moodle, Edmodo, among others. Therefore, the research project refers to the Microsoft Teams educational platform and its impact on the teaching-learning process in high school students of the Teodoro Kelly Educational Unit. This research uses a mixed approach, where it is represented by processes in a systematic, analytical and critical way, using methods, techniques and instruments for collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data. The study population is finite, composed of 14 teachers and 145 high school students from the two specialties offered: technical and science, from the Teodoro Kelly educational unit. Therefore, a probabilistic sampling was applied where the sample size was determined. It is complemented by a proposal addressed to all high school teachers, called a didactic guide for the Microsoft Teams platform as a collaborative learning methodological resource, allowing to improve the participation and interaction of students actively in virtual classes and contributing the interest of learn, capable of building their own knowledge with the different functions offered by the Microsoft Teams educational platform applied by teachers.es_ES
