dc.descriptionThe development of this research is framed in the use of the use of methodological strategies in the teaching-learning processes in the area of mathematics in students of 4th year of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit ''Adolfo María Astudillo'', to in order to carry out a motivating and significant teaching-learning process. The process of learning and teaching mathematics has become in recent years a highly complex and tedious task, methodological strategies help improve the inter-learning of mathematics where students develop their critical thinking and reasoning skills, thereby avoiding mechanical-repetitive learning. Due to the use of learning strategies, these favor the performance of the different subjects in the students and also improve their possibilities of work and study, educators must keep in mind that they are responsible for facilitating the learning process through methodological strategies. and techniques that stimulate the educational action to achieve significant learning and attract the attention of the student. The problem arises from the experiences of the author in educational centers and especially from the concern of the academic performance of the fourth year students in the area of mathematics, for which the need was seen to carry out a methodological strategy based on the methodological currents that contributes to improve learning in this area. Since in students it is important to develop pedagogical strategies according to their school age, in order to achieve the objective of training in the apprentice, in addition, the methodological strategies seek to develop creativity in students within the teaching-learning processes. Finally, the main purpose of this research is to address the problem focused on the cognitive development of students through the application of appropriate methodological strategies, thus achieving that the methodological change in the teaching processes in the area of education serves the institution. the maths.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl desarrollo de la presente investigación se enmarca en la utilización del uso de estrategias metodológicas en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje en el área de matemáticas en estudiantes de 4to año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa ‘‘Adolfo María Astudillo’’, a fin de sobrellevar un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje motivador y significativo. El proceso de aprendizaje y enseñanza de las matemáticas, se ha convertido durante los últimos años en una tarea ampliamente compleja y tediosa, las estrategias metodológicas ayudan a mejorar el inter-aprendizaje de las matemáticas en donde los estudiantes desarrollan su capacidad crítica reflexiva y razonamiento, evitando con ello, un aprendizaje mecánico-repetitivo. Debido al uso de las estrategias de aprendizaje, estas favorecen el rendimiento de las diferentes materias en los estudiantes y también mejoran sus posibilidades de trabajo y de estudio, los educadores deben tener presente que ellos son los responsables de facilitar el proceso de aprendizaje mediante estrategias metodológicas y técnicas que dinamicen la acción educativa para lograr obtener aprendizajes significativos y llamar la atención del estudiante. La problemática surge por experiencias de la autora en centros educativos y en especial por la preocupación del rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del cuarto año en el área de las matemáticas, por lo que se vio la necesidad de realizar una estrategia metodológica basada en las corrientes metodológicas contemporáneas que contribuya a mejorar el aprendizaje en esta área. Ya que en los estudiantes es importante desarrollar estrategias pedagógicas acordes a su edad escolar, para poder de esta manera alcanzar el objetivo de formación en el aprendiz, además las estrategias metodológicas buscan desarrollar la creatividad en los educandos dentro de los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje. Finalmente, la presente investigación tiene como finalidad principal atender el problema enfocado en el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes a través de la aplicación de estrategias metodológicas apropiadas, logrando con ello que sirva a la institución el cambio metodológico en los procesos de enseñanza en el área de las matemáticas.es_ES
