| dc.description | Femicide cases are increasing daily and much more frequently in Ecuador; The figures from January 1 to November 16, 2020 registered 101 femicides in Ecuador, despite the fact that there is a social conflict when determining a homicide with a femicide, it is a fact that has generated much controversy and expectation in the citizenship and in justice and security operators, such as Gustavo Jalkh, president of the Council of the Judiciary and of the Justice table. Within the research line of the communication career, a sub-line of research can be found that allows us to approach communication and its relationship with human groups: gender, vulnerable and intercultural groups. The objective of this case study was to analyze the speeches of the news of femicide cases presented in the Diario El Comercio, during the year 2020. The research methodology based on observation and interview techniques was used. The information was analyzed through the analysis of speeches in the news about femicide in 2020. Despite all the conflicts that still exist by the tabloid media, this project helps us expand our knowledge and concepts about femicide in Ecuador, it should be noted that at present there are still several interpretations of this issue, in terms of how it occurs, the types that exist, the aggressor and the victim. Taking into account that the main protagonists of these cruel acts can usually be any of us. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Los casos de femicidio aumentan a diario y con mucha más frecuencia en el Ecuador; las cifras desde el 1 de enero hasta el 16 de noviembre 2020 registraron 101 feminicidios en Ecuador, a pesar de que existe un conflicto social al determinar un homicidio con un femicidio, es un hecho que ha generado mucha polémica y expectativa en la ciudadanía y en los operadores de justicia y seguridad, como lo es Gustavo Jalkh, presidente del Consejo de la Judicatura y de la mesa de Justicia. Dentro de la línea de investigación de la carrera de comunicación se puede encontrar una sub-línea de investigación que nos permite abordar a la comunicación y su relación con grupos humanos: género, grupos vulnerables e interculturales. El objetivo de este estudio de caso fue analizar los discursos de las noticias de los casos de femicidio presentadas en el Diario El Comercio, durante el año 2020. Se utilizó la metodología de investigación basada en técnicas de observación y entrevistas. La información se analizó a través de análisis de discursos de las noticias acerca del feminicidio en el 2020. A pesar de todos los conflictos que aún existen por los medios de comunicación amarillistas, este proyecto nos ayuda a ampliar nuestro conocimientos y conceptos sobre el femicidio en Ecuador, cabe recalcar que en la actualidad siguen existiendo varias interpretaciones de este tema, en cuanto a cómo se da, los tipos que existes, el agresor y su agredida. Tomando en cuenta que los principales protagonistas de estos actos tan crueles por lo general podemos ser cualquiera de nosotros. | es_ES |
