dc.descriptionThis case study analyzed the Instagram application as a means to report political and economic content in Ecuador from the digital medium La Posta, in order to determine those entertainment characteristics, the same ones that serve in the journalistic field, which has helped many digital media to disseminate news information, therefore, denotes the advantages that journalists have noticed in this multimedia tool. The case study was based on the qualitative-quantitative research method, that is, mixed, so that, to obtain bibliographic data, the web was very helpful, because the information was extracted from digital reviews, digital books, theses, among others. On the other hand, obtaining field information was obtained through a survey of the audience of the digital medium La Posta that uses Instagram, which is part of the quantitative research, in addition to the interview with the multimedia production engineer Aldo Mora who He also has a master's degree in web management, gives his opinion on the management of the application, such as the treatment of information in the digital field, the same that is part of qualitative research, finally the observation technique, through a file, the same one that is part of qualitative research. The results obtained show that the Instagram application is feasible as a means of transmitting information, due to the multimedia tools and formats it has, in addition to the audience if they like that the political and economic content is presented in those tools and the style they have. The journalists of La Posta complement so that the medium shows that particularity differently from any other native digital medium.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso analizó a la aplicación Instagram como medio para informar contenido político y económico de Ecuador del medio digital La Posta, con la finalidad de determinar aquellas características de entretenimiento, las mismas que sirven en el ámbito periodístico, que ha ayudado a muchos medios digitales a difundir la información noticiosa, por lo tanto, indica las ventajas que los periodistas han notado en esta herramienta multimedia. El estudio de caso se basó en el método de investigación mixta, por lo que, para la obtención de datos bibliográficos, la web fue de mucha ayuda, porque la información fue extraída de revistas digitales, libros digitales, tesis, entre otros. Por otra parte, la obtención de la información de campo se obtuvo mediante una encuesta a la audiencia del medio digital La Posta que utiliza Instagram, la misma que es parte de la investigación cuantitativa, además la entrevista al Ingeniero en producción multimedia Aldo Mora quien también posee una Maestría en Gestión Web, él opina sobre el manejo de la aplicación, cómo debe ser el tratamiento de la información en el campo digital, esta forma parte de la investigación cualitativa, por último la técnica de observación, mediante una ficha, la cual es parte de la investigación cualitativa. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la aplicación Instagram sí es factible como medio de transmisión de información, por las herramientas y formatos multimedia que posee, además a la audiencia sí le agrada que el contenido político y económico sea presentado en aquellas herramientas y el estilo que poseen los periodistas de La posta complementa para que el medio muestre esa particularidad ante cualquier otro medio digital nativo.es_ES
