| dc.description | The following case study shows that digital media are necessary for older adults, pointing out the development and evolution of the methods used within the media that benefit and understand the analysis of social networks based on the new implements of the journalists as a result of the growth of new technologies, collecting important data on digital journalism such as illiteracy, content management, media characteristics, new media methodology and frequency updates. For this content, the interview and survey method that was carried out to the inhabitants of the Vinces canton of the Los Ríos province was used. In this way results of the techniques used such as; the time of use of the internet, which are the media they use and the type of writing of the media. Resulting in the consumption of digital media and adaptation to new technologies, assuming that communicators should not lower their guard and continue to use new methods to have the public's attention. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El siguiente estudio de caso muestra que los medios de comunicación digitales son necesarios para los adultos mayores, señalando el desarrollo y la evolución de los métodos empleados dentro de los medios que benefician y comprenden el análisis de las redes sociales basándose en los nuevos implementos de los periodistas a raíz del crecimiento de las nuevas tecnologías, recogiendo datos importantes sobre el periodismo digital como son en analfabetismo, el manejo de contenidos, característica de los medios, metodología de los nuevos medios y la actualización de frecuencias. Para este contenido se usó el método de entrevista y encuestas que se les realizara a los habitantes del cantón Vinces de la provincia de Los Ríos. De esta manera se muestran resultados de las técnicas utilizadas tales como; el tiempo de uso del internet, cuales son los medios que utilizan y el tipo de redacción de los medios. Teniendo como resultado el consumo de los medios digitales y la adaptación a las nuevas tecnologías, asumiendo que los comunicadores no deben bajar la guardia y seguir empleando nuevos métodos para tener la atención del público. | es_ES |
