dc.descriptionIn the present case analysis about cognitive distortions and their impact on anxiety in a student, where he theoretically delved into the variables stating that cognitive distortions are basically wrong thoughts about events, that is, the way the patient interprets events due to their pre-existing cognitive structures, which have been formed from previous experiences affecting their current state of anxiety. Through the techniques applied such as psychometric tests, clinical observation, it was possible to collect the information, the semi-structured interview formulated in twenty questions was used to obtain the necessary data for the respective clinical history, marked patterns of anxious behavior were also identified due to their a her automatic thoughts of a negative nature, with the support of the psychometric batteries applied to the patient to measure the state of anxiety, the Hamilton test was applied and the automatic thoughts test was applied to show distortions. As a result of the mental examination of the patient, a generalized anxiety diagnosis of F41.1 was reached, fulfilling the criteria of DSM V and based on the findings that it was noticeable in the behavior frequently with restlessness, fatigue, muscular discomfort when faced with any type of situation generating emotional and behavioral discomfort, a psychotherapeutic plan focused on the needs of the patient was also developed with the aim of improving her mental health.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el presente análisis de caso acerca de las distorsiones cognitivas y su repercusión en la ansiedad en un estudiante, donde se profundizo teóricamente acerca de las variables manifestando que las distorsiones cognitivas son básicamente pensamientos erróneos acerca de los acontecimientos, es decir la manera que el paciente interpreta los sucesos debido a sus estructuras cognitivas preexistentes , la cual se han formado a partir de las experiencias previas afectando su estado de ansiedad actualmente. Mediante las técnicas aplicadas como test psicométricos, observación clínica se logró realizar la recolección de la información se empleó la entrevista semiestructurada formulada en veinte preguntas para obtener los datos necesarios para la respectiva historia clínica, también se identificó patrones marcados de conducta ansiosa debido a sus a sus pensamientos automáticos de carácter negativo, con el apoyo de las baterías psicométricas aplicadas en la paciente para medir el estado de ansiedad se aplicó el test de Hamilton y para poder evidenciar distorsiones el test de pensamientos automáticos. Como resultado de la exploración mental del paciente se llevó a un consenso de diagnóstico de F41.1 ansiedad generalizada cumpliendo con los criterios del DSM V y basado con los hallazgos encontrados que fue notorio en el comportamiento frecuentemente con inquietud, cansancio, malestar muscular ante cualquier tipo situación generándole el malestar emocional y conductual, también se elaboró un plan psicoterapéutico enfocado en las necesidades del paciente con el objetivo de mejorar su salud mental.es_ES
