dc.descriptionThis practical study was carried out with reference to a 23-year-old woman, whose negative automatic thoughts are affecting her anxiety levels, generating many inconveniences in her social, family and especially academic environment. Having Generalized Anxiety Disorder as a diagnosis, since it meets the criteria established in the DSM-V. However, the main objective is to determine the repercussions of cognitive distortions in the university student, to contribute to the improvement of their problems. In carrying out this study, several psychological tools were required, such as the preparation of the clinical history, inventories of psychometric tests that are an aid for the professional when determining a viable and precise diagnosis, among the selected tests is the test Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Beck's Negative Automatic Thoughts Self-Record Sheet. The final result of this research is the application of psychotherapeutic techniques with a cognitive behavioral approach; Approach that allowed the development of an effective therapeutic plan, in a short period of time. Obtaining positive and concrete results throughout the process of analysis and elaboration of the case, by which the knowledge acquired during the entire development of the clinical psychology career was put into practice.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste estudio práctico se lo realizo con referencia a una mujer de 23 años, a la cual sus pensamientos automáticos negativos están afectando en sus niveles de ansiedad generándole muchos inconvenientes en su entorno social, familiar y sobre todo académico. Teniendo como diagnostico el Trastorno de Ansiedad Generalizada, puesto que cumple con los criterios establecidos en el DSM-V. No obstante, el objetivo principal es determinar las repercusiones de las distorsiones cognitivas en la estudiante universitaria, para contribuir a la mejoría de su problemática. En la realización de este estudio se requirió de varias herramientas psicológicas como la elaboración de la historia clínica, inventarios de test psicométricos que son una ayuda para el profesional al momento de determinar un diagnostico viable y preciso, entre seleccionadas los test seleccionados se encuentra el test de escala de ansiedad de Hamilton y Ficha de auto registro de pensamientos automáticos negativos de Beck. El resultado final de esta investigación, es la aplicación de técnicas psicoterapéuticas con un enfoque cognitivo conductual; Enfoque que permitió el desarrollo de un plan terapéutico efectivo, en un periodo corto de tiempo. Obteniendo resultados positivos y concretos en todo el proceso de análisis y elaboración del caso, por la cual se puso en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos durante todo el desarrollo de la carrera de psicología clínica.es_ES
