Based on the information collected, I established a therapeutic plan, focused on cognitive behavioral therapy, in order to restructure the thinking patterns, which are negatively reflected in the student's emotions and behavior. At the end of the process, the techniques achieved a great advance in relation to the thoughts that the adolescent initially manifested.es_ES

dc.description.abstractA través de este estudio de caso se indagó sobre inteligencia emocional y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico de un estudiante de la Unidad Educativa Caracol, en el desarrollo se evidenció que, efectivamente el estudiante se ve afectado ya que no posee un autocontrol de sus emociones, su mayor repercusión es en el contexto educativo. Para detectar la incidencia de mi variable independiente en el rendimiento académico de este adolescente, procedí a recolectar información a través de las entrevistas, técnicas psicoterapeutas y test psicométricos, mismos, que validaron mi estudio. En base a la información que se obtuvo, establecí un plan terapéutico, enfocado en la terapia cognitivo conductual, para reestructurar los esquemas de pensamiento, que se reflejan de forma negativa en las emociones y el comportamiento del estudiante. Lo que originó resultados favorables en su contexto académico.es_ES
