dc.descriptionThe official communications of the GAD of the city of Babahoyo, guide and inform the population about how, when, where and why an activity is going to be carried out through Facebook among other channels. The present study proposes to know what is the information management that the official communications published on Facebook have in the population so that the efficiency of this social network is greater. The response to an interview on the efficiency of Facebook as a communication channel was analyzed by three journalists who practice their profession in different places (radio, written spokesperson and in the GAD of the city of Babahoyo); as well as the responses of the population using a survey published on Facebook. The results of the investigation show that Facebook fulfills its role of officially communicating, where the response of the population is deficient in its attitude of cooperation because they demand their rights but do not fulfill their citizen obligations. The negative position of the opponents who express their discontent in any official publication was also known. In conclusion, lack of motivation and low awareness do not allow the sense of cooperation to be effective, observing an irresponsible attitude in the citizens; Therefore, it is recommended to apply the Briefing strategy, or the elaboration of a contextualized and didactic work plan in which the citizen contributes to community activity and the presence in this Facebook network that responds directly, accurately and quickly to population concerns.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLos comunicados oficiales del GAD de la ciudad de Babahoyo, orientan e informan a la población sobre cómo, cuándo, dónde y para qué se va a hacer una actividad a través de Facebook entre otros canales. El presente estudio plantea conocer cuál es el manejo informativo que los comunicados oficiales publicados en el Facebook tienen en la población para que la eficiencia de esta red social sea mayor. Se ha analizado la respuesta a una entrevista sobre la eficiencia del Facebook como canal de comunicación, de tres periodistas que ejercen la profesión en sitios distintos, (radio, vocero escrito y en el GAD de la ciudad de Babahoyo); así como las respuestas de la población empleando una encuesta publicada en el Facebook. Los resultados de la investigación demuestran que el Facebook, cumple su rol de comunicar oficialmente, donde la respuesta de la población es deficiente en su actitud de cooperación porque exigen sus derechos pero no cumplen sus obligaciones ciudadanas. También se conoció la postura negativa de los opositores que manifiestan su descontento en toda publicación oficial. En conclusión, la desmotivación y la escasa sensibilización no permiten hacer efectivo el sentido de cooperación, observando una actitud irresponsable en la ciudadanía; por tanto se recomienda aplicar la estrategia Briefing, o elaboración de un plan de trabajo contextualizado y didáctico en que el ciudadano aporte en la actividad comunitaria y la presencia en esta red Facebook que responda directa, certera y rápidamente las inquietudes poblacionales.es_ES
