dc.description | The present work presents as a theme the promotion of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of the Babahoyo Canton as a boost for entrepreneurs in times of pandemic. Being an entrepreneur is living a daily fantasy, but it is not easy at all. Less if, suddenly, a global pandemic arrives that paralyzes everything. Covid - 19 has caused devastation in the lives of many people around the world and in public health systems. Having repercussions on the local and global economy, with many who will feel this impression, among which are entrepreneurs and small brands. However, being an entrepreneur means being in constant transformation, learning to overcome challenges and being creative to take actions that move us forward. Entrepreneurs use networks for guidance, discovery of opportunities, access to other tangible and intangible resources, and problem solving. Different types of social networks are required for different purposes, and the usefulness of the type of network and the ties that they represent depend fundamentally on the stage of the entrepreneurial activity that is being developed. An entrepreneur faces multiple obstacles in developing his initiatives. Social networks will help your company become visible to potential customers. An Instagram account, a Facebook page, are essential for every business that starts. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo expone como tema la promoción del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal (GAD) del Cantón Babahoyo como impulso para emprendedores en tiempos de pandemia. Ser emprendedor es vivir una fantasía diaria, pero no es nada fácil. Menos si, de pronto, llega una pandemia mundial que paraliza todo. El Covid – 19 ha causado devastación en la vida de muchas personas alrededor del mundo y en los sistemas de salud pública. Teniendo repercusiones en la economía local y mundial, siendo muchos los que sentirán esta impresión, dentro de los cuales, están los emprendedores y las marcas pequeñas. Sin embargo, ser emprendedor, significa estar en constante transformación, aprender a superar retos y ser creativos para tomar acciones que nos saquen adelante. Los emprendedores usan las redes en busca de guías, descubrimiento de oportunidades, acceso a otros recursos tangibles e intangibles y solución de problemas. Distintos tipos de redes sociales son requeridas para diversos propósitos, y la utilidad del tipo de red y los lazos que ellas representan, dependen fundamentalmente de la etapa de la actividad de emprendimiento que se esté desarrollando. Un emprendedor se enfrenta a múltiples obstáculos para desarrollar sus iniciativas. Las redes sociales ayudarán a que tu empresa se haga visible ante potenciales clientes.
