dc.descriptionThis work shows the impact that the YouTube platform has had in helping to spread the soccer content of communicators in Ecuador. Interviews have been conducted for them and data has been collected, using as a source a specialized page that tracks statistics and analysis of social networks. In its first part, some fundamental principles of what YouTube is, digital journalism and the impact it has caused globally, in addition to the sports journalism that is currently carried out on the platform, are exposed. In this project, an observation has been made of the statistics of three YouTube channels run by sports communicators in the Ecuadorian soccer field, to find out their visibility and viability, and assess whether they have become an alternative to traditional media. In addition, it should be noted that thanks to the environment offered by the YouTube platform, creators have had an exchange, collaboration and continuous feedback with their virtual community. To achieve the objective, a descriptive methodology was used in addition to conducting interviews with those involved in the study, said content creators, based on the conditions of use granted by the Google platform, allows us to demonstrate and evaluate the YouTube platform as a excellent alternative to show football content.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo muestra la repercusión que ha tenido la plataforma YouTube para contribuir a difundir los contenidos futbolísticos de los comunicadores en el Ecuador. Para ellos se ha realizado entrevistas y se han recolectado datos, utilizando como fuente una página especializada que rastrea estadísticas y análisis de redes sociales. En su primera parte se exponen algunos principios fundamentales de lo que es YouTube, el periodismo digital y el impacto que ha causado globalmente, además del periodismo deportivo que se realiza actualmente en la plataforma. En este proyecto se ha realizado una observación de las estadísticas de tres canales de YouTube dirigidos por comunicadores deportivos en del fútbol ecuatoriano, para conocer su visibilidad y viabilidad, y valorar si se ha convertido en una alternativa a los medios de comunicación tradicionales. Además, se debe recalcar que gracias al ambiente que ofrece la plataforma YouTube los creadores han dispuesto de un intercambio, colaboración y retroalimentación continua con su comunidad virtual. Para la consecución del objetivo se utilizó una metodología descriptiva además de realizar entrevistas a los implicados en el estudio, dichos creadores de contenido, en base a las condiciones de uso que otorga la plataforma de Google, permite evidenciar y valorar la plataforma YouTube como una excelente alternativa para mostrar contenido futbolístico.es_ES
