The cultivation of oranges represents a great economic importance for producers who are dedicated to this type of cultivation, since this activity involves a series of jobs, it depends on the different stages of crop management, harvest and post-harvest. The study methodology that was carried out was the compilation of information from magazines, newspapers, scientific articles and web pages, about the production, commercialization and economic importance of the orange crop in Ecuador.
