dc.descriptionThe written press plays a fundamental role in the life of modern societies, because it shows events, conflicts, trajectory, political life, sports, social events, among others. The Ecuadorian press from its origin as a means of communication focused on the voice of the people, the content of the press in general is characterized by its political, literary and advertising content. The front page of the newspapers is your cover letter, where the reading public is in charge of choosing the newspaper that you like the most or attracts your attention. The Extra Newspaper written press whose first edition was published in the year 1974. For several years it was characterized by having a serious line of news, but in the year 1988 its managers decided to lean on issues of abuse and violence, already in the year 2000 decided to incorporate into its sections the Sexy Monday, a space created of a sexist type and directed towards the male market. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the main front page of the extra newspaper and its impact on the level of sales in the Parroquia Viva Alfaro. For the collection of information, research sources and techniques were used, the first being collected through bibliographic information from books, texts and scientific publications, while the survey technique allowed to know the opinion that readers have regarding this newspaperes_ES

dc.description.abstractLa prensa escrita cumple un rol fundamental en la vida de las sociedades modernas, pues en ella se observan sucesos, conflictos, trayectoria, vida política, deportes, actos sociales, entre otros. La prensa ecuatoriana desde su origen como medio de comunicación se enfocó en la voz del pueblo, el contenido de la prensa en general se caracteriza por su contenido político, literario y publicitario. La portada de los diarios es su carta de presentación, en donde el público lector es el encargado de escoger el periódico que más le guste o le llame la atención. El Diario Extra prensa escrita cuya primera edición fue publicada en el año de 1974. Durante varios años se caracterizó por tener una línea seria de noticia, pero en el año de 1988 sus directivos decidieron inclinarse por temas de maltrato y violencia, ya en el año 2000 decidió incorporar dentro de sus secciones el Lunes Sexy, espacio creado de tipo sexista y dirigido hacia el mercado masculino. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad determinar el impacto que ejerce la portada principal del diario extra y su incidencia en el nivel de ventas en la Parroquia Viva Alfaro. Para el levantamiento de la información se recurrió a fuentes y técnicas de investigación, siendo la primera recolectada a través de información bibliográfica proveniente de libros, textos y publicaciones científicas, mientras que la técnica de la encuesta permitió conocer la opinión que los lectores tienen respecto a este diario.es_ES
