| dc.description | In recent decades, much of the planet has experienced continued tourism growth and deep diversification, to become one of the fastest growing economic sectors. World tourism is closely linked to development and registers an increasing number of new destinations. Ecuador has a huge tourist potential to show the world. It is promoted by national and international tourism agencies. Each province and canton of Ecuador has its own characteristics, its natural charms, beautiful landscapes, culture and a unique folklore, which make it interesting to boost the tourism industry and thereby generate sources of work and boost the socioeconomic development of the sector. One of the problems that have the Quevedo canton is that despite having an excellent commercial activity and with the financing of entrepreneurs who have decided to invest in the city in view of their economic development, they lack a tourist offer that potentiates this sector despite the demand that currently exists. The creation of a water park that influences the improvement of tourism and hotel infrastructure in the Las Palmiras sector will help with the tourist offer of the canton, it will be a safe new attraction for people who want to have fun without the stress of traveling to other places that it causes them more expense and little guarantee of returning to the same site. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En las últimas décadas, gran parte del planeta, ha experimentado un continuo crecimiento turístico y una profunda diversificación, para convertirse en uno de los sectores económicos que crecen con mayor rapidez. El turismo mundial está estrechamente ligado con el desarrollo y registra un número creciente de nuevos destinos. El Ecuador tiene un enorme potencial turístico que mostrar al mundo. Lo promocionan las agencias turísticas nacionales e internacionales. Cada provincia y cantón del Ecuador tiene sus propias características, sus encantos naturales, paisajes hermosos, cultura y un folclor singular, que lo hacen interesante para impulsar la industria turística y con ello generar fuentes de trabajo e impulsar el desarrollo socioeconómico del sector. Una de las problemáticas que tienen el cantón Quevedo es que a pesar de contar con una excelente actividad comercial y con el financiamiento de empresarios que han decidido invertir en la ciudad en vista de su desarrollo económico carece de una oferta turística que potencialice este sector pese a la demanda que existe actualmente. La creación de un parque acuático que influya en el mejoramiento de la infraestructura turística y hotelera en el sector Las Palmiras ayudará con la oferta turística del cantón, será una atracción novedosa segura para las personas que desean divertirse sin el estrés de viajar a otros lugares que les ocasiona más gasto y pocas garantías de volver al mismo sitio. | es_ES |
