dc.descriptionThis case study has as its theme: Autism spectrum and intelligence disorder in a student of the Maria Auxiliadora Private Basic Education Institution, and as a goal the relationship between these two variables, thus determining the diagnostic criteria, the IQ and establishing the intervention individual, family and academic psychotherapeutic. We used techniques such as the observation sheet, medical history, psychometric techniques such as tests of the M-CHAT test, family APGAR, non-verbal Wechsler scale. The analysis of these allows to confirm that the student presents diagnostic criteria of ASD, and there is no relationship with intelligence. The affected areas are: cognitive, affective, social-behavioral, so the psychotherapeutic intervention was carried out with the Cognitive-Behavioral model with the applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) approach.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste estudio de caso tiene por tema: Trastorno del espectro autista e inteligencia en un estudiante de la Institución de Educación Básica Particular María Auxiliadora, y como objetivo la relación entre éstas dos variables, determinado así los criterios diagnósticos, el coeficiente intelectual y estableciendo la intervención psicoterapéutica a nivel individual, familiar y académica. Se utilizó, técnicas como la ficha de observación, historia clínica, técnicas psicométricas cómo pruebas del Test M-CHAT, APGAR familiar, Escala Wechsler no verbal. El análisis de estos permite confirmar que el estudiante presenta criterios diagnósticos del TEA, y no existe relación con la inteligencia. Las áreas afectadas son: cognitivas, afectivas, social-conductual, por lo que la intervención psicoterapéutica se realizó con el modelo Cognitivo-Conductual con el enfoque del Análisis conductual aplicado (ABA).es_ES
