dc.description	The present research work is a case study, the theme is: "THE VIRTUAL PLATFORMS FOR THE TEACHING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT" MAY 16 "IN THE FIRST YEAR OF BACHILLERATO, which constitutes a new didactic mechanism of knowledge and transfer for language teaching-learning, in which virtual applications such as: gmail, internet, wiki, facebook, email, youtube and blog are implemented, which help improve teaching to achieve a better level of learning in students, The platforms are not only tools for work, study and archiving but they are also sociological phenomena that are increasing among countries and cultures. dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de investigación es un estudio de caso, el tema es: “LAS PLATAFORMAS VIRTUALES PARA LA ENSEÑANZA DEL IDIOMA INGLÉS DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “16 DE MAYO” EN EL PRIMER AÑO DE BACHILLERATO, que constituye un nuevo mecanismo didáctico de conocimiento y transferencia para la enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma, en el que se implementa aplicaciones virtuales como: gmail, internet, wiki, facebook, email, youtube y blog las cuales ayudan a mejorar la enseñanza para alcanzar un mejor nivel de aprendizaje en los estudiantes, las plataformas no solo son herramientas de trabajo , estudio y archivo sino que también son fenómenos sociológicos que van incrementando entre los países y culturas. La Unidad Educativa “16 de mayo” constituye la Unidad de análisis de este caso pedagógico, el delimitador demográfico constituyen los estudiantes del primer año de bachillerato paralelo “A” y “B”, con un total de 80 estudiantes; las encuestas se aplicaron mediante la técnica de muestreo, 40 de un universo de 80 estudiantes. Otro delimitador demográfico constituyen a los docentes de Unidad Educativa “16 de mayo” con un total de 6 docentes; las encuestas se aplicaron mediante la técnica de muestreo, la metodología que se utilizo fue el método deductivo porque va de lo general que es la Unidad Educativa “16 de mayo” a lo particular los estudiantes del primer año de bachillerato	es_ES
