dc.description	The current research is based on the Ancestral Knowledge and Medicinal Tourism of the Waranga Culture, Bolívar Province nestled on the flanks of the Ecuadorian highlands and how these knowledge, traditions and knowledge they would contribute to the medicinal and experiential tourism development of the Guaranda Canton, with the objective of strengthening their cultural identity through the preservation, recognition and dissemination of their heritage wisdom, encouraging the population to take advantage of their ancestral and experiential knowledge about Natural Medicine that over time, space and worldview are being forgotten by the new generations. With the rise of globalization, the advancement of technology and the acculturation process in some members of the Waranga community, they have adopted different cultural habits giving way to Cultural Syncretism causing the process of self-determination of cultural identity of this ethnic group. Through the use of methods, techniques and instruments, it was acquired as a result that the limited knowledge about Ancestral Knowledge and the scarce practice of Natural Medicine of the Waranga Culture, It is due to the decline of cultural identity, causing the disuse of the medicinal plants that the Yachaks and midwives possess for the cure of diseases, and prefer to make use of Western medicine. Ancestral knowledge is traditional manifestations, experiences, events inherited by ancestors that are based mainly on the wisdom and practice of customs, traditions, historical events, rituals, myths and legends, elements that are considered as the most important part of a town and its inhabitants becoming a main piece of its Cultural Identity, through these inheritances that the ancestors have left to these communities through the development of Cultural Tourism and Medicinal Tourism, it will allow to increase economic income and social integration to the communities that do it, contributing to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La actual investigación se orienta en los Saberes Ancestrales y el Turismo Medicinal de la Cultura Waranga , Provincia de Bolívar enclavada en los flancos de la sierra ecuatoriana y cómo estos conocimientos, tradiciones y saberes aportarían al desarrollo turístico medicinal y vivencial del Cantón Guaranda, teniendo como objetivo fortalecer su identitario cultural mediante la preservación, reconocimiento y difusión de su sabiduría patrimonial , incentivando a la población el aprovechamiento de sus conocimientos ancestrales y vivénciales acerca de la Medicina Natural que con el tiempo, el espacio y la cosmovisión están siendo olvidadas por las nuevas generaciones. Con el auge de la globalización, el avance de la tecnología y el proceso de aculturación en algunos miembros de la comunidad Waranga, han adoptado hábitos culturales distintos dando paso al Sincretismo Cultural provocando el proceso de autodeterminación de identidad cultural de esta etnia. Mediante el uso de métodos, técnicas e instrumentos, se adquirió como resultado que los limitados conocimientos sobre los Saberes Ancestrales y la escasa práctica de la Medicina Natural de la Cultura Waranga, se debe a la decadencia de la identidad cultural, ocasionando el desuso de las plantas medicinales que poseen los Yachaks y parteras para la curación de enfermedades, y prefieren hacer uso de la medicina occidental. Los saberes ancestrales son manifestaciones tradicionales, vivencias, acontecimientos heredadas por los antepasados que se basan principalmente en la sabiduría y práctica de las costumbres, tradiciones, hechos históricos, rituales, mitos y leyendas, elementos que son considerados como la parte más importante de un pueblo y de sus habitantes constituyéndose como una pieza principal de su Identidad Cultural, por medio de estas herencias que han dejado los antepasados a estas comunidades mediante el desarrollo del Turismo Cultural y el Turismo Medicinal, permitirá incrementar ingresos económicos e integración social a las comunidades que lo efectúan, contribuyendo a mejorar la calidad de vida de sus habitantes	es_ES
