dc.description	The continuous technological advance means that every day the human being gets involved in the knowledge society, information and communication technologies, within education, has allowed to make a change in education, that is why educational institutions now They have the need to insert technology into their educational processes. This research report is focused on the management and use of educational web portals as pedagogical tools within the cognitive development of students, educational web portals are a set of resources linked to the world of the internet, where both teacher and student have them as learning tools, in order to change the way of carrying out the educational process both inside and outside the institution; Web portals have become a very useful resource for teachers, as they can prepare their classes more dynamically, while students can strengthen what they have learned in the classroom. The results obtained during the investigation made it possible to demonstrate the need to implement a technological tool for the cognitive development of students, in this case the educational web portals can be used by both teachers and students, With the information obtained was made in the approach of the use of the web portal Schoology, a manual was developed which explains everything necessary for the application of this tool within the teaching and learning process.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El continuo avance tecnológico hace que cada día el ser humano se involucre en la sociedad del conocimiento, las tecnologías de información y comunicación, dentro de la educación, ha permitido el poder realizar un cambio en la educación, es por ello que las instituciones educativas ahora tienen como necesidad insertar la tecnología dentro de sus procesos educativos. El presente informe de investigación está centrado en el manejo y uso de los portales web educativos como herramientas pedagógicas dentro del desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes, los portales web educativos son un conjuntos de recursos enlazado al mundo del internet, donde tanto docente y estudiante los tienen como herramientas de aprendizaje, para de esta forma poder cambiar el modo de llevar el proceso educativo tanto dentro como fuera de la institución; los portales web se ha convertido en un recurso muy útil para docente, ya que puede preparar sus clases de manera más dinámicas, mientras que los estudiantes pueden fortalecer lo aprendido dentro del aula de clase. Los resultados obtenidos durante la investigación permitieron evidenciar la necesidad de implementar una herramienta tecnológica para el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes, en este caso los portales web educativos, puede ser utilizado tanto por docentes como estudiantes, Con la información obtenida se realizó en el planteamiento del uso del portal web Schoology, se desarrolló un manual donde se explica todo lo necesario para la aplicación de esta herramienta dentro del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.	es_ES
