| dc.description | Due to the increasing development experienced by the Free Software in education, that has enabled new ways of imparting knowledge and introduces students and teachers to innovative processes in their own education. Therefore, the objective of this research was to analyze the use of free software as a support tool in the teaching-learning process in Teleinformatic Engineering career of the EUGENIO ESPEJO. In methodology, the technique used for the collection of information was the survey. Fieldwork was then performed to obtain the information of students and teachers of the career Teleinformatic Engineering. The information collected was reflected in the analysis and discussion of results, in which it was determined that it is necessary to make the proposal that is presented at the end of the investigation; in order to respond to the challenge that Higher Education Institutions face today, must have a vision and a new paradigm in training their students and have a flexible computing infrastructure to develop new learning experiences according to the society of knowledge | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Debido al creciente desarrollo que ha experimentado el Software libre en el ámbito educativo, ha permitido experimentar nuevas formas de impartir conocimientos e introducir a los estudiantes y docentes en procesos innovadores en su propia educación. Por consiguiente, el objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue analizar el uso de software libre como herramienta de apoyo en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la en la unidad educativa EUGENIO ESPEJO Dentro de La metodología, la técnica que se utilizó para la recolección de la información fue la encuesta. Luego se realizó el trabajo de campo para obtener la información de los estudiantes y de la Unidad Educativa. La información que se recolectó se reflejó en el análisis y discusión de resultados, en la cual se determinó que es necesario realizar la propuesta planteada al final de la investigación; con el objetivo de responder al reto al que se enfrentan en la actualidad las Instituciones de Educación Superior, de tener una visión y un nuevo paradigma en la formación de sus estudiantes y contar con una infraestructura informática flexible que permita desarrollar nuevas experiencias de aprendizaje acorde la nueva sociedad del conocimiento | es_ES |
