| dc.description | The present research work teaches us the importance of an educational space in the classroom such as the reading corner, an important part of the imaginative development in early education children, this in turn promotes cognitive development. , linguistic and socio-emotional. It allows children to acquire new vocabulary, improve attention and concentration, develop creativity and strengthen emotional bonds. The main objective of the work will be to evaluate how the reading corner can improve the cognitive and imaginative capacity of students at the “Amarilis Sandoya Cepeda” Early Education Center, focusing on specific aspects such as vocabulary expansion, verbal comprehension, and expression. emotional. In addition, we will seek to understand how the introduction of a reading corner in the educational environment can stimulate the creativity and abstract thinking capacity of children aged 4 to 5 years, identifying possible improvements in their cognitive and emotional skills throughout the period. of evaluation. Based on a type of descriptive research because the main idea is to evaluate and at the same time detail the current effectiveness of the reading corner in the aforementioned Initial Education Center, having as population the teachers and parents of the students and applying a survey to each one of them. The results obtained support educational theories that emphasize the importance of providing environments rich in stimuli for the comprehensive development of students in the Initial Education stage. The connection between the introduction of reading corners and the increase in creativity, verbal comprehension and emotional expression highlights the relevance of this pedagogical practice as an effective tool to cultivate key skills in child development. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación nos enseña la importancia que viene siendo un espacio educativo en el salón de clase como lo viene siendo el rincón de lectura, parte importante en el desarrollo imaginativo en los niños de educación inicial, esto a su vez promueve el desarrollo cognitivo, lingüístico y socioemocional. Permite a los niños adquirir nuevo vocabulario, mejorar la atención y concentración, desarrollar la creatividad y fortalecer vínculos afectivos. El objetivo principal del trabajo será evaluar cómo el rincón de lectura puede mejorar la capacidad cognitiva e imaginativa de los estudiantes en el Centro de Educación Inicial “Amarilis Sandoya Cepeda, centrándose en aspectos específicos como la expansión del vocabulario, la comprensión verbal, y la expresión emocional. Además, se buscará comprender cómo la introducción de un rincón de lectura en el entorno educativo puede estimular la creatividad y la capacidad de pensamiento abstracto de los niños de 4 a 5 años, identificando posibles mejoras en sus habilidades cognitivas y emocionales a lo largo del periodo de evaluación. Basándonos en un tipo de investigación descriptivo porque la idea principal es evaluar y a la vez detallar la efectividad actual del rincón de lectura en el Centro de Educación Inicial antes mencionado, teniendo como población los docentes y padres de familia de los estudiantes y aplicando una encuesta a cada uno de ellos. Los resultados obtenidos respaldan las teorías educativas que enfatizan la importancia de proporcionar entornos ricos en estímulos para el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes en la etapa de Educación Inicial. La conexión entre la introducción de rincones de lectura y el incremento en la creatividad, comprensión verbal y expresión emocional resalta la pertinencia de esta práctica pedagógica como herramienta efectiva para cultivar habilidades clave en el desarrollo infantil. | es_ES |
