dc.description | The objective of this research was to analyze the evaluation of teaching performance and its impact on the improvement of teaching for 7th "A" grade students of the Abdón Calderon Muñoz Educational Unit. It addressed the issue of educational quality and the importance of continuous evaluation of teaching work in the improvement of teaching and learning processes. Mixed data collection techniques were used, including student surveys and teacher interviews. The results revealed that most students perceive the teacher's explanations as clear and understandable, and value the organization of the classes. However, they identified areas for improvement in the use of didactic material and the availability of the teacher to resolve doubts outside class hours. In addition, it was evidenced that the evaluations proposed by the teacher are perceived as adequate by most of the students, although there are some discrepancies in this aspect. The importance of strengthening teacher training and promoting support and feedback strategies to improve the quality of teaching is highlighted. It is suggested to implement professional development programs, foster collaboration between teachers and students, and integrate educational technologies in the classroom. These actions can contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of educational processes and the achievement of better academic results. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la evaluación del desempeño docente y su impacto en la mejora de la enseñanza para los estudiantes de 7mo "A" de la Unidad Educativa Abdón Calderón Muñoz. Se abordó la problemática de la calidad educativa y la importancia de la evaluación continua del trabajo docente en la mejora de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Se emplearon técnicas mixtas de recolección de datos, incluyendo encuestas a los estudiantes y entrevistas al docente. Los resultados revelaron que la mayoría de los estudiantes perciben las explicaciones del docente como claras y comprensibles, y valoran la organización de las clases. Sin embargo, identificaron áreas de mejora en la utilización de material didáctico y la disponibilidad del docente para resolver dudas fuera del horario de clases. Además, se evidenció que las evaluaciones propuestas por el docente son percibidas como adecuadas por la mayoría de los estudiantes, aunque existen algunas discrepancias en este aspecto. Se destaca la importancia de fortalecer la formación docente y promover estrategias de apoyo y retroalimentación para mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza. Se sugiere implementar programas de desarrollo profesional, fomentar la colaboración entre docentes y estudiantes, e integrar tecnologías educativas en el aula. Estas acciones pueden contribuir significativamente a la mejora continua de los procesos educativos y al logro de mejores resultados académicos. | es_ES |
