Self-esteem is a subjective and affective evaluation that an individual has of himself, about his own value and competence, it can be influenced by various factors, such as self-image, self- concept, while psychological well-being refers to the state of balance and satisfaction. in different areas of life. The research was carried out with a population of 100 in a sample of 74 adolescents selected through probabilistic sampling, a mixed approach was used, with a non-experimental cross-sectional research design, and a correlational methodology. Data were collected through standardized questionnaires such as the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (EAR) validated by Ventura, Caycho and Barboza (2018) and the Psychological Well-being Scale for adolescents BIEPS-(J) validated by María Casullo adapted by Martínez (2002). The results obtained from the statistical analyzes of the Pearson coefficient through the JAMOVI program, a significant positive correlation of R 0.742*** was achieved between the variables in adolescents. This indicates that individuals with high levels of self-esteem tend to experience greater psychological well-being in different aspects of their lives, such as interpersonal relationships, academic performance and general satisfaction, since it is related to greater pleasure and emotional, cognitive and balance. social in the lives of adolescents.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre la autoestima y el bienestar psicológico en adolescentes de 14 a 17 años de la Unidad Educativa Eugenio Espejo. La autoestima es una evaluación subjetiva y afectiva que un individuo tiene de sí mismo, sobre su propio valor y competencia, puede estar influenciada por diversos factores, como la autoimagen, el autoconcepto, mientras que el bienestar psicológico se refiere al estado de equilibrio y satisfacción en las diferentes áreas de la vida. La investigación se llevó a cabo con una población de 100 en una muestra de 74 adolescentes seleccionados mediante un muestreo probabilístico, se utilizó un enfoque mixto, con un diseño de investigación no experimental de corte transversal, y una metodología correlacional. Se recopilaron datos a través de los cuestionarios estandarizados como la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg (EAR) validado por Ventura, Caycho y Barboza (2018) y la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico para adolescentes BIEPS-(J) validado por María Casullo adaptada por Martínez (2002). Los resultados que se obtuvo de los análisis estadísticos del coeficiente de Pearson a través del programa JAMOVI, se consiguió una correlación positiva significativa de R 0.742*** entre las variables en los adolescentes. Esto indica que los individuos con niveles altos de autoestima tienden a experimentar un mayor bienestar psicológico en diferentes aspectos de su vida, como las relaciones interpersonales, el rendimiento académico y la satisfacción general ya que se relaciona con una mayor agrado y equilibrio emocional, cognitivo y social en la vida de los adolescentes.es_ES
