dc.descriptionDigital strategies have evolved over the years, this growth has been significant in various areas of society, because they are used to promote products, events or services. The purpose of this work is to analyze, evaluate and determine the effectiveness of digital strategies and their impact on promoting cultural events in the city of Babahoyo. Digital media are an important basis when disseminating cultural activities to guarantee community participation. Ecuador is a country distinguished by its diversity and has several cities recognized as cultural heritage. It is necessary to evaluate whether the strategies in Babahoyo are used appropriately. The methodology given is from a mixed and descriptive approach. It is essential to understand each type of research to apply appropriate strategies and obtain accurate and contextualized data on the phenomenon under study. The construction of this project is based on the bibliographic compilation of scientific articles and books from Google Scholar, focusing on the degree to which digital strategies have been received as an indispensable element to disseminate events. Surveys were also carried out among Babahoyense citizens, as well as an interview with the director of the House of Culture, Mr. Henry Layana Franco to learn his perspective on new technologies. This academic project is of utmost relevance to understand the tactics currently used in the city and propose new strategies to promote development, identity and local tourism. In addition, it will help organizers to find new ways to promote their events.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas estrategias digitales han evolucionado a lo largo de los años, este crecimiento ha sido significativo en diversos ámbitos de la sociedad, porque son empleadas para promocionar productos, eventos o servicios. El propósito de este trabajo tiene como finalidad analizar, evaluar y determinar la efectividad de las estrategias digitales y su incidencia para promocionar eventos culturales en la ciudad de Babahoyo. Los medios digitales son una base importante a la hora de difundir actividades culturales para garantizar la participación de la comunidad. Ecuador, es un país distinguido por su diversidad y cuenta con varias ciudades reconocidas como patrimonio cultural. Es necesario evaluar si se emplean adecuadamente las estrategias en Babahoyo. La metodología dada es desde un enfoque mixto y descriptivo. Es esencial comprender cada tipo de investigación para aplicar estrategias adecuadas, obtener datos precisos y contextualizados sobre el fenómeno en estudio. La construcción de este proyecto está basada en la recopilación bibliográfica de artículos científicos y libros de Google académico centrándose en el grado que ha recibido las estrategias digitales como elemento indispensable para difundir eventos. También se realizaron encuestas a la ciudadanía Babahoyense, asimismo una entrevista al director de la Casa de la Cultura, el Sr. Henry Layana Franco para conocer su perspectiva acerca de las nuevas tecnologías. Este proyecto académico es de suma relevancia para conocer las tácticas empleadas actualmente en la ciudad y proponer nuevas estrategias para impulsar el desarrollo, la identidad y el turismo local. Además, servirá de ayuda a los organizadores, para obtener nuevas maneras de promocionar sus eventos.es_ES
