Strength training and muscle hypertrophy constitute two fundamental pillars within the field of physical conditioning, especially for those young people who seek to improve their sports performance and achieve optimal muscle development. Currently, the practice of strength training has gained popularity among the youth population, and its proper implementation has become a key factor in achieving the desired results. In this context, the present research project focuses on analyzing the relationship between muscle hypertrophy and the development of strength in young people between 18 and 22 years old who are active members of the ENERGYM gym, located in the El Empalme Canton. The present study becomes relevant by providing a deeper understanding of how strength training and muscle hypertrophy can impact youth performance and health. Through the analysis of the methods used in the ENERGYM gym, we seek to offer recommendations and improvements in the planning of training programs, with the aim of optimizing the results obtained and promoting a safe and effective training practice. Throughout this project, the theoretical foundations related to strength training and muscle hypertrophy will be presented, the training methods applied in the ENERGYM gym will be explored, and the results obtained will be discussed. Finally, recommendations will be proposed with the purpose of strengthening the training approach in the gym, seeking to contribute to the physical development and general well-being of young practitioners and promoting their growth in the sports field and the adoption of an active and healthy lifestylees_ES
