dc.descriptionThis research work has the purpose of knowing more about black and white photographs in order to analyze Sebastião Salgado's images and to demonstrate that through this type of photos it is also possible to express and appreciate what the photographer wants to convey. Through his works, over time these works have a great meaning in life since they show many realities in the world and although Salgado was criticized for his photos, they are still something that many appreciate. Black and white photography as it is also called monochrome where there is no color but only gray and black, it can be said that it is the representation of the purest expression that exists; Through it, when taking an image, either from a look, it can reveal all the expression or drama of the photo. In 1827 Niepce was the one who managed to take a photograph through a heliography technique where he used silver chloride in a camera obscura, but in addition to this the painter Louis J. Daguerre achieved the beginning of photography by taking the first steps to perfect the photography art. For this type of images, it must be taken into account that the essential of these images is to be able to choose scenes where color is not dominant. For this type of photographs, one can select those that express the sensation of stillness, aggressiveness, peace, sensuality, among other. In these images you have to know how to use composition and contrast to convey emotions in this type of photos. Therefore, this research project with a qualitative approach because it sought to analyze black and white photography, through materials such as an observation sheet and interview, where relevant results were obtained.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de investigación tiene la finalidad de saber más sobre las fotografías a blanco y negro para poder analizar las imágenes de Sebastião salgado y poder demostrar que a través de este tipo de fotos también se puede expresar y apreciar lo que el fotógrafo quiere dar a entender a través de sus obras, con el paso del tiempo estas obras tienen un gran sentido en la vida ya que muestras muchas realidades en el mundo y aunque salgado tuvo muchas críticas por su fotos no dejan de ser algo que aprecian muchos. La fotografía a blanco y negro como también se llama monocromática en donde no hay color si no solo en grises y negro, se puede decir que es la representación de la expresión más pura que existe; por medio de ella al tomar una imagen ya sea de una mirada esta puede revelar todo la expresión o dramatismo de la foto. En 1827 Niepce fue quien logro realizar una fotografía a través de una técnica heliografía en donde utilizo cloruro de plata en una cámara oscura, pero a más de esto el pintor Louis J. Daguerre logra el inicio de la fotografía dando los primeros pasos a perfeccionan el arte de la fotografía. Para este tipo de imágenes se debe tener en cuenta que lo esencial de estas imágenes es poder escoger escenas en donde el color no sea dominante, para este tipo de fotografías se puede seleccionar aquellas que expresen la sensación de quietud, agresividad, paz, sensualidad, entre otras. En estas imágenes hay que saber utilizar la composición y contraste para transmitir las emociones en este tipo de fotos. Por lo cual este proyecto de investigación de enfoque cualitativo porque se buscó analizar sobre la fotografía a blanco y negro, a través de los materiales como ficha de observación y entrevista, en donde se obtuvo resultados relevanteses_ES
