| dc.description | In the present case of investigation that was developed with the objective of knowing the incidence of psychological abuse in the mental health of a 45-year-old patient in the city of Babahoyo, covering the concept of psychological abuse, we say that it is when a person is constantly being humiliated, discriminated against or disrespected in her feelings, generating negative thoughts of herself, making the adult unable to lead a full and happy life. Different instruments were used for the present case study, such as the collection of information through the clinical history, direct observation was also used, the corresponding battery of tests was also used, 5 sessions were carried out after what was applied, the diagnosis could be obtained. of the patient, the approach with which we worked was cognitive behavioral therapy in which its purpose is to modify behaviors and thoughts of the patient that do not allow her to have a normal rhythm of life and are affecting her emotionally. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente caso de investigación que se desarrolló teniendo como objetivo, conocer la incidencia del Maltrato psicológico en la salud mental de una paciente de 45 años en la cuidad de Babahoyo, abarcando el concepto del maltrato psicológico decimos que es cuando una persona está siendo constantemente humillada, discriminada o irrespetada en sus sentimientos, generando pensamientos negativos de sí misma, haciendo que la adulta no pueda llevar una vida plena y feliz. Se utilizaron diferentes instrumentos para el presente estudio de caso como la recolección de la información mediante la historia clínica, también se utilizó la observación directa, igualmente se utilizó la batería de test correspondientes, se realizaron 5 sesiones luego de lo aplicado se pudo obtener el diagnóstico de la paciente, el enfoque con el que trabajamos fue la terapia cognitivo conductual en la cual su propósito es modificar conductas y pensamientos de la paciente que no le permiten tener un ritmo normal de vida y le están afectando emocionalmente. | es_ES |
