dc.descriptionThis case study shows how anxiety affects self-esteem in a 15-year-old adolescent from the city of Guaranda, after having gone through different situations that have acted as emotional and physiological triggers, which were located with the help of the semi-structured interview using different instruments such as: the clinical observation sheet, the clinical history and the psychometric tests, for example, the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), the State/Trait Anxiety self-assessment questionnaire in children ( STAIC) and the Rosemberg Self-Esteem Scale, through them you can find various signs and symptoms in the cognitive, affective, thinking, somatic, social or school behavior areas. Likewise, according to the variables, various findings were detected where the pubescent since childhood has been the victim of discrimination and bullying by their peers due to their physical makeup, causing physical and emotional discomfort. Everything applied was very useful because it was possible to reach the presumptive diagnosis of the patient, which was verified through diagnostic manuals such as DSM-V and CIE-10 where he presents F41.1 (300.02) Generalized anxiety disorder, complying with three or more of the clinical criteria. Finally, according to the evidenced diagnosis, a psychotherapeutic scheme based on Aron Beck's Cognitive-behavioral Therapy was proposed, where the techniques were provided, differentiating events, thoughts and feelings, explaining how thoughts create feelings, training in social skills, passive relaxation, breathing in 4 times, to counteract its symptoms.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn este estudio de caso se evidencia cómo la ansiedad repercute en la autoestima en un adolescente de 15 años de la ciudad de Guaranda, después de haber atravesado por diferentes situaciones que han actuado como factores desencadenantes a nivel emocional y fisiológico, los cuales fueron localizados con la ayuda de la entrevista semiestructura utilizando diferentes instrumentos como lo son: la ficha de observación clínica, la historia clínica y los test psicométricos, por ejemplo, Inventario de Ansiedad de Beck (BAI), Cuestionario de autoevaluación de Ansiedad Estado/ Rasgo en niños (STAIC) y Escala de autoestima de Rosemberg, a través de ellos se puedo encontrar varios signos y síntomas en las áreas cognitiva, afectiva, pensamiento, somática, conducta social o escolar. Igualmente, de acuerdo a las variables se detectaron diversos hallazgos donde el púber desde pequeño ha sido víctima de discriminación y bullying por parte de sus compañeros por su contextura física ocasionando malestar físico y emocional. Todo lo aplicado fue de gran utilidad debido a que se pudo llegar al diagnóstico presuntivo del paciente, mismo, que se verificó mediante los manuales diagnósticos como DSM-V y CIE-10 donde presenta F41.1 (300.02) Tastorno de ansiedad generalizada, cumpliendo con tres o más de los criterios clínicos. Finalmente, de acuerdo con el diagnóstico evidenciado se planteó un esquema psicoterapéutico basado en la Terapia Cognitiva-conductual de Aron Beck, donde se suministró las técnicas diferenciando eventos, pensamientos y sentimientos, explicar cómo los pensamientos crean sentimientos, entrenamiento en habilidad social, relajación pasiva, respiración en 4 tiempos, para contrarrestar su sintomatología.es_ES
