dc.descriptionThe following study work aims to determine the effects of depression on the social relationships of a 16-year-old adolescent with family problems through the use of psychological techniques in order to improve the quality of life in mental health. Given the isolation and episodes of frequent crying for no reason, which alter their social relationships and the concern on the part of the collaborators of the school, this case was referred to a professional in psychology, so that it could be evaluated, to treat this case it was used various techniques and instruments such as; observation, clinical history, interview, Hamilton and Rosenberg tests, determining that the adolescent presented a Major Depressive Disorder, it should be emphasized that the depression detected had been developing from the problems with her mother, who from the problems and Little relationship with her mother, having emotional problems ever since. To work on this patient, psychotherapy was started through CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with the aim of modifying recurring thoughts of low self-esteem, so that new goals, reference to well-being, could be set, so that this would recover joy and replace the episodes depressives that torment her. It should be noted that in order to continue with his evolution, the patient undertook to work on himself to opt for new and good habits in his life, since depression is a low state of mind that alters behavior to such a degree that if it is not constantly treated or evaluated can lead to suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn el siguiente trabajo de estudio tiene como objetivo determinar los efectos de la depresión en las relaciones sociales de una adolescente de 16 años con problemas familiares mediante el uso de técnicas psicológicas con el fin de mejorar la calidad de vida en salud mental. Ante el aislamiento y los episodios de llantos frecuentes sin razón, que alteran sus relaciones sociales y la preocupación por parte de los colaboradores del colegio se derivó este caso hacia un profesional en psicología, para que se proceda a evaluarlo, para tratar este caso se utilizaron varias técnicas e instrumentos como; la observación, la historia clínica, la entrevista, los test de Hamilton y de Rosenberg, determinando que la adolescente presentaba un Trastorno de Depresión Mayor, cabe recalcar que la depresión detectada se venido desarrollando desde los problemas con su madre, quien desde los problemas y poca vinculación con su progenitora, teniendo problemas afectivos desde aquel entonces. Para trabajar en este paciente se inició la psicoterapia por medio de Terapia Cognitivo Conductual TCC, con el objetivo de modificar pensamientos recurrentes de baja autoestima, para que se plantee nuevos objetivos, referente al bienestar, para que así este recupere la alegría y remplace los episodios depresivos que la atormentan. Cabe señalar que para continuar con su evolución el paciente se comprometió a trabajar en sí mismo en optar por realizar nuevos y buenos hábitos en tu vida, ya que la depresión es un bajo estado de ánimo que altera el comportamiento a tal grado que si no es tratado o evaluados constantemente puedo a pensamientos suicidas y a las tentativas de suicidio.es_ES
