dc.descriptionThe covid-19 virus came into the lives of human beings unexpectedly causing great concern and despair for the human losses that it caused not only in the most vulnerable places but it ended up affecting all of humanity; the covid-19 virus also known as coronavirus destabilized the physiological health of people, the economy, usual activities, also mental health had a great impact for these causes. It is for this reason that the need arises to investigate in more depth with a real clinical case of a 14 year old adolescent student of the Educational Unit June 23 of the canton Baba, which focuses on verifying whether the covid-19 affects the academic performance of the adolescent, for the respective collection of the variables was obtained through extensive bibliographic research, the diagnosis that arises from generalized anxiety in childhood and adolescence in ICD-10 with code F93. 80, is the result of all the interventions worked with the patient by means of psychological methods and techniques such as: semi-structured interviews, clinical observation, clinical history and psychological batteries such as: the self-descriptive inventory of the adolescent IADA and the scale of state anxiety and trait anxiety - STAIC, based on the syndrome detected, a psychotherapeutic approach based on cognitive behavioral therapy is proposed. The results were a reduction of symptoms and the acquisition of psychological antibodies for coping with negative situations. It is concluded that the covid-19 virus has direct effects on the academic performance of the adolescent, impairing the patient's quality of life.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl covid-19 un virus que llego a la vida de los seres humanos de manera inesperada causando gran preocupación y desesperación por las pérdidas humanas que este provoco no solo en lugares más vulnerables si no que termino afecto a toda la humanidad; el virus del covid.19 también conocido como coronavirus desestabilizo la salud fisiológica de las personas, la economía, actividades habituales, también la salud mental tuvo un gran impacto por estas causas. Es por aquello que surge la necesidad de investigar con más profundidad con un caso clínico real de una adolescente de 14 años estudiante de la Unidad Educativa 23 de junio del cantón Baba, lo cual se centra en verificar si el covid-19 afecta el rendimiento académico de la adolescente, para la respectiva recolección de las variables se obtuvo por medio de una amplia investigación bibliográfica, el diagnostico que se plantea de ansiedad generalizada en la niñez y adolescencia en CIE-10 con el código F93.80, es el resultado de todas las intervenciones trabajadas con la paciente por medio de métodos y técnicas psicológico como: entrevistas semiestructuradas, observación clínica, historia clínica y baterías psicológicas como : el inventario auto descriptivo de la adolescente IADA y la escala de ansiedad estado y ansiedad rasgo - STAIC en base al síndrome detectado se propone un abordaje psicoterapéutico a basado en la terapia cognitiva conductual. Teniendo como resultados reducción de los síntomas adquiriendo anticuerpos psicológicos para el afrontamiento a situaciones negativas. Se concluye que el virus del covid-19 tiene efectos directamente en el rendimiento académico de la adolescente perjudicando la calidad de vida de la paciente.es_ES
