| dc.description | This case study aims to analyze the key actors involved in the tourism management of the Urdaneta Canton and their main functions that they perform within the public and private sectors, its objective is to make known how their work influences the development of tourism projects in the Canton. The type of research used is qualitative because an interview will be conducted with the Director of the Department of Tourism, it is a documentary research with which information is obtained from the different actors who have studied the functions of the actors of tourism management is descriptive by that describes all the phenomena and all the situations that are generated around the tourist management that it has in relation to the functions of the main actors and as well as the projects that have been carried out during the management of these authors in the Urdaneta Canton. In this investigation, the following have been revealed: in municipal management it is probably one of the most novel and promising dimensions and competencies of the currently valid approach to local development, which in such a way in the summer seasons are the ones with the greatest tourist influx. In the canton where its patron saint and cantonal festivities are celebrated, public events are held, as well as regattas are held in order to generate economic reactivation. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso pretende analizar los actores claves involucrados en la gestión turística del Cantón Urdaneta y sus principales funciones que ejercen dentro del sector público y privado, su objetivo es dar a conocer como su labor influyen en el desarrollo de los proyectos turístico en el Cantón. El tipo de investigación utilizado es cualitativo por que se realizará una entrevista a la Directora del Departamento de Turismo, es una investigación documental con lo cual se obtiene información de los diferentes actores que han estudiado las funciones de los actores de la gestión turística es descriptiva por que se describen todos los fenómenos y todas las situaciones que se genera alrededor de la gestión turística que tiene en relación con la funciones de los actores principales y así como también los proyecto que se han llevado a cabo durante la gestión de estos autores en el Cantón Urdaneta. En está investigación se da ha conocer los siguientes, en la gestión municipal es probablemente una de las dimensiones y competencias más novedosas y prometedoras del enfoque actualmente vigente del desarrollo local, que de tal manera en las temporadas de verano son las que tienen mayor afluencia turísticas en el cantón donde se celebran su fiestas patronales y cantonales, se realizan eventos públicos, al igual se efectúan las regatas con el fin de generar reactivación económica. | es_ES |
