dc.descriptionThe Municipal Fire Department of Quevedo is an institution with 104 years of work and perennial service to citizens, whose purpose is to help and attend in case of disaster and emergency; For this reason, brave men and women risk their lives daily to save the lives of others, always with self-sacrifice and discipline. Currently this institution lacks a Department of Public Relations, because they do not have a budget for its implementation, which makes it difficult to spread the work carried out by this institution in the Quevedo canton. The objective of this research is to analyze public relations and its impact on the corporate image of the Fire Department of the Quevedo canton, year 2021. The research subline of the career is Sports, environmental and investigative journalism. The deductive method and the inductive method were used, applied and field research was used, a survey questionnaire was developed to be able to apply it to a sample of inhabitants of the Quevedo canton. With the results obtained and the situations detected, it is intended to provide the Municipal Fire Department of Quevedo with the necessary elements so that they can implement public relations and improve the corporate image of this institution. The conclusions, recommendations, bibliography and annexes that support the development of this research were then drawn up.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl Cuerpo de Bomberos Municipal de Quevedo, es una institución con 104 años de labor y servicio perenne a la ciudadanía, cuya finalidad es socorrer y atender en caso de desastre y emergencia; por ello, valientes hombres y mujeres arriesgan diariamente sus vidas por salvar la de los demás, siempre con abnegación y disciplina. Actualmente esta institución carece de un Departamento de Relaciones Públicas, debido a que no cuentan con un presupuesto destinado para su implementación, lo cual dificulta poder difundir la labor que realiza esta institución en el cantón Quevedo. El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar las relaciones públicas y su incidencia en la imagen corporativa del Cuerpo de Bomberos del cantón Quevedo, año 2021. La sublinea de investigación de la carrera es Periodismo deportivo, ambiental e investigativo. Se utilizó el método deductivo y el método inductivo, se utilizó la investigación aplicada y de campo, se elaboró un cuestionario de encuestas para poder aplicarlo a una muestra de habitantes del cantón Quevedo. Con los resultados obtenidos y las situaciones detectadas, se pretende dotar al Cuerpo de Bomberos Municipal de Quevedo, de los elementos necesarios para que puedan implementar las relaciones públicas y poder mejorar la imagen corporativa de esta institución. A continuación se elaboraron las conclusiones, las recomendaciones, la bibliografía y los anexos que respaldan la elaboración de la presente investigación.es_ES
