Through digital journalism, information can be obtained at the moment the event unfolds, in addition, this medium offers the possibility that each of the people can exchange their opinions about the news as well as contribute with a relevant investigation. Unlike the others, this medium contains several advantages, such as providing news in real time, with sound, images, links to other pages, and interaction with society. Cyberjournalism involves the entire journalism process, taking advantage of the resources offered by technology, promoting the constant development of information that the audience can receive at any time and place. The different social networks allow us to maintain immediate communication with your followers, it also offers us the possibility of talking, listening and communicating directly with your community, it is a more human service. It should be noted that it is a powerful means of disseminating news that also allows us to capture the attention of users or customers and in turn we can listen to the audience and communicate more directly. Due to the characteristics of this research work, the type of descriptive and explanatory research was used. In this project, data collection instruments were used, such as survey questions applied to a group of people from the Los Guayacanes parish, "San Jorge" sector, Quevedo canton. The survey was carried out on 170 people from the Los Guayacanes parish, “San Jorge” sector. Therefore, the conclusion was reached that the main purpose of journalism is to provide citizens with accurate and timely information to assert their rights before society. Not all the news that is disseminated through social networks is true, many times altered content is uploaded to attract people's attention; That is why we must be critical and keep ourselves informed through reliable digital media. It is recommended to design a training plan with communication strategies in this way, the citizen and reader has the possibility to give their opinion and participate in the debate, an action that is increasingly common in the multimedia platforms of newspapers, radio stations and TV channels. with an online presence. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El periodismo digital o como se lo conoce actualmente ciberperiodismo es un medio de información directa y accesibles para los lectores que se interesan por los acontecimientos suscitados en el mundo. A través del periodismo digital la información se la puede obtener en el instante que se desarrolla el suceso, además, este medio ofrece la posibilidad de que cada uno de las personas pueden intercambiar sus opiniones acerca de las noticas como también aportan con una investigación relevante. . El ciberperiodismo involucra todo el proceso de periodismo aprovechando los recursos que ofrece la tecnología, promoviendo el desarrollo constante de información que la audiencia puede recibir en cualquier momento y lugar. Las distintas redes sociales nos permiten mantener una comunicación inmediata con tus seguidores, también nos ofrece la posibilidad de conversar, escuchar y comunicarse directamente con su comunidad, es un servicio más humano. Cabe destacar que es un potente medio de difusión de noticias que también nos permite captar la atención de los usuario o clientes y a su vez podemos escuchar a la audiencia y comunicarnos de una forma más directa. Por las características del presente trabajo investigativo, se utilizó el tipo de investigación descriptivo y explicativo. En este proyecto se utilizaron los instrumentos de recolección de datos tales como preguntas de encuesta aplicada a grupo de personas de la parroquia Los Guayacanes sector “San Jorge”, cantón Quevedo La Encuesta se realizó de 170 personas de la parroquia Los Guayacanes sector “San Jorge” Por lo tanto, se llegó la conclusión que el propósito principal del periodismo es proporcionar a los ciudadanos información veraz y oportuna para hacer valer sus derechos antes la sociedad. No todas las noticias que se difunden por medio de redes sociales son verídicas, muchas veces suben contenidos alterados para llamar la atención de las personas; es por ello que debemos ser críticos y mantenernos informados a través de los medios de comunicación digitales confiables. Se recomienda diseñar un plan de capacitación con estrategias comunicacionales de este modo, el ciudadano y lector tiene la posibilidad de dar su opinión y participar en el debate, acción que es cada vez más habitual en las plataformas multimedia de diarios, radioemisoras y canales de tv con presencia en internet. | es_ES |
