dc.descriptionA marketing plan within the tourism sector today takes an important point within the sector, today's tourists seek information before visiting a place in situ, this is how they investigate, they even get carried away by comments when conducting research on a tourist place. The objective of this research work is to carry out a marketing plan and its impact on the tourist development of the Balzar canton, information that will be very helpful in promoting tourism and its other related sectors in this canton. This investigative work seeks to identify the tourist segments that are currently offered and which ones have the greatest demand, although it is taken as a reference that the Balzar canton is privileged since it has several tourist segments which have not been properly developed and exploited. The applied methodology has been of a descriptive and documentary type, in which he managed to analyze and describe how tourism develops in this canton, as well as the importance of applying a marketing plan that contributes to its tourist development. In order to collect the information and support the application of the proposal, surveys were applied to the population, the results of which show that the Balzar canton is considered a tourist area, with cultural tourism and gastronomic tourism as options for tourist segments. without failing to recognize that this canton also has tourist attractions that could be promoted through effective advertising processes in order to attract a large number of tourists.es_ES

dc.description.abstractUn plan de marketing dentro del sector turístico en la actualidad toma un punto importante dentro del sector, los turistas de la actualidad buscan información antes de hacer la visita a un lugar de manera in situ, es así como investigan, inclusive se dejan llevar por comentarios al momento de realizar una investigación sobre un lugar turístico. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo realizar un plan de marketing y su impacto en el desarrollo turístico del cantón Balzar, información que servirá de mucha ayuda a la promoción del turismo y sus demás sectores afín existentes en este cantón. En este trabajo investigativo se busca identificar los segmentos turísticos que actualmente se ofrecen y cuáles tienen mayor demanda, aunque se tiene como referencia que el cantón Balzar es privilegiado ya que cuenta con varios segmentos turísticos los cuales no han sido desarrollados y explotados debidamente La metodología aplicada ha sido de tipo descriptiva y documental, en el que logró analizar y describir como se desarrolla el turismo en este cantón, así como la importancia que se tiene por aplicar un plan de marketing que contribuya al desarrollo turístico del mismo. Para realizar el levantamiento de la información y respaldar la aplicación de la propuesta se procedió a aplicar encuestas a la población cuyos resultados muestran que el cantón Balzar sí es considerado como una zona turística, teniendo como opciones de segmentos turísticos el turismo cultural y turismo gastronómico, sin dejar de reconocer que este cantón también posee atractivos turísticos que podrían ser promocionados mediante procesos de publicidad efectivos con el fin de atraer gran cantidad de turistases_ES
