dc.descriptionThe work carried out by the secretarial staff plays an important role, because it contributes to the administrative efficiency and productivity of the company; for this reason, it is important that organizations are made up of professional secretaries, with skills, abilities and administrative skills. The study of this case was carried out in the company Protecalman Representaciones Químicas S.A”, located in the Duran canton, province of Guayas, where the administrative efficiency of the secretaries and its impact on the productivity of the company were evaluated. The problematic situation is based on the fact that certain secretarial techniques and job skills are not executed effectively by the secretaries, which affects the organization, planning, control and productivity processes of the organization. The methodology applied within the present case study is based on a qualitative approach, using the types of descriptive and field research, the method used was inductive, because it allowed investigating particular situations to establish general conclusions, while the technique used was a survey, addressed to the secretarial staff and an interview applied to the Administrative Director of the company. The results of the investigation allowed to determine that the human talent of the secretariat does not adequately have the necessary tools for the execution of its activities and application of its labor competencies, the main causes and weaknesses were also identified, regarding the secretarial work that affects the company productivity. Finally, it is concluded that despite the weaknesses of the secretarial staff, their efficient administrative work influences the productivity of the business organization.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa labor que ejerce el personal de secretaría juega un papel importante en la administración, porque contribuye en la eficiencia administrativa y productividad de la empresa; razón por la cual, es relevante que las organizaciones estén conformadas por secretarias que posean habilidades, destrezas y competencias administrativas. El estudio de este caso se realizó en la empresa Protecaleman Representaciones Químicas S.A”, ubicada en el cantón Duran, provincia del Guayas, donde se evaluó la eficiencia administrativa de las secretarias y su impacto en la productividad de la empresa. La situación problemática se sustenta en que ciertas técnicas secretariales y competencias laborales no son ejecutadas de manera efectiva, lo cual afecta los procesos de organización, planificación, control y productividad de la organización. La metodología aplicada está basada por un enfoque enfoque cualitativo, utilizando los tipos de investigación documental y de campo, el método empleado fue el inductivo, porque permitió indagar situaciones particulares para establecer conclusiones generales, mientras que las técnicas empeladas fueron una encuesta dirigida al personal de secretaría y una entrevista aplicada al Director Administrativo de la empresa. Los resultados de la investigación permitieron determinar que el talento humano de secretaría no cuenta con las herramientas necesarias para la ejecución de sus actividades y aplicación de sus competencias laborales, también se identificó las principales causas y debilidades, respecto a la labor secretarial que afecta la productividad de la empresa. Finalmente, se concluye que a pesar de las debilidades que presenta el personal de secretaría, su labor administrativa eficiente influyen en la productividad de la organización empresarial.es_ES
