dc.descriptionThe present investigation had as general objective: to determine the incidence of recreational activities in the development of gross motor skills in children from 7 to 9 years of age at the Campo Elías sports center in the province of Los Ríos, in the canton of Montalvo. The methodology was: descriptive type, using method: deductive, inductive and descriptive. The population consisted of 30 children from nine to eleven years old and the sample was 20 children. For data collection, the observation technique was used and the instrument was an estimation scale. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for data processing and hypothesis testing. The results were: from the pre-test, with respect to gross motor skills in general, it was obtained that 65% (13) of the children are at the starting level; 35% (7) of the children are located at the process level and 00% (0) no children are located at the achievement level; while on the other hand in the post test, it resulted in 00% (0) no child being located at the starting level; 20% (4) of the children are located at the process level; and 80% (16) of the children reached the achievement level. Finally, the T Student was applied, which confirmed the hypothesis, and it was concluded that recreational activities have a significant impact on the gross motor skills of children at the Campo Elias sports center, 2022.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general: determinar la incidencia de las actividades recreativas en el desarrollo de la motricidad gruesa de niños de 7 a 9 años del centro deportivo campo Elías de la provincia de los Ríos, del cantón Montalvo. La metodología fue: de tipo descriptiva , haciendo uso de método: deductivos, inductivos y descriptivos. La población estuvo conformada por 30 niños de nueve a once años y la muestra fue de 20 niños. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de observación y el instrumento fue una escala de estimación. Para el procesamiento de datos y comprobación de hipótesis se utilizó la estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Los resultados fueron: del pre test, con respecto a la motricidad gruesa en genera, se obtuvo que el 65% (13) de los niños están en el nivel inicio; 35% (7) de los niños se ubican en el nivel proceso y 00% (0) ningún niño se ubican en el nivel logro; mientras que por otra parte en el post test, dio como resultado que el 00% (0) ningún niño se ubican en el nivel inicio; el 20% (4) de los niños se ubican en el nivel proceso; y el 80% (16) de los niños alcanzó el nivel logro. Finalmente, se aplicó la T Student, la cual confirmó la hipótesis, y se concluyó que las actividades recreativas tienen incidencia significativos en la motricidad gruesa de niños del centro deportivo Campo Elias, 2022.es_ES
