| dc.description | The present case study is based on the study of poetry as a cultural identity in the Puebloviejo Canton, this being one of the oldest cantons in the province of the rivers, this Canton is also known for being a producer of Banana and Cocoa, but very few people have knowledge of the tourist and cultural attraction of the area, mainly because people are not attracted to their cultural past. It is important to carry out this case study for the reason that it will be made known how important poetry is as a cultural identity in the Puebloviejo Canton, if you get to know more about cultural identity you can develop new strategies that promote tourism and that is not only for its gastronomy or for its landscapes but also for its poetry. This case study has as a quantitative research methodology where descriptive and documentary methods were applied with the development of surveys conducted on 100 people from the Puebloviejo Canton. | dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso se basa en el estudio de la poesía como identidad cultural en el Cantón Puebloviejo, siendo este uno de los cantones más antiguos de la provincia de los ríos, este Cantón también es conocido por ser productor de Banana y Cacao, pero muy pocas personas tienen conocimiento del atractivo turístico y cultural de la zona, debido principalmente a que a las personas no les llama la atención su pasado cultural. Es importante realizar este estudio de caso por el motivo de que se dará a conocer cuán importante es la poesía como una identidad cultural en el Cantón Puebloviejo, si se llega a conocer más sobre la identidad cultural se podrá desarrollar nuevas estrategias que fomenten el turismo y que no solo sea por su gastronomía o por sus paisajes sino también por su poesía. Este estudio de caso tiene como metodología de investigación de carácter cuantitativo en donde se aplicaron los métodos descriptivos y documentales con el desarrollo de las encuestas realizadas a 100 personas del Cantón Puebloviejo. Teniendo como resultado que las nuevas generaciones estén perdiendo las costumbres y tradiciones que tenía este Cantón y que tampoco no tengan conocimiento sobre la identidad cultural | es_ES |
