dc.descriptionThe search for educational excellence encompasses integrating principles, ideas, strategies and paradigms that guarantee an increase in the chances of success in institutions that allow the processes it requires to be efficient for a long time. What has been expressed shows a vision of the fundamental components of the educational administration, which by including the concepts of quality, total quality and quality in the institutions, carry with them the human factor with the connotations of culture and values, as well as the operating guidelines as part of the educational processes developed in school organizations for the realization of the goals and objectives of comprehensive training. This case study refers to the administrative management and student desertion, therefore its objective is aimed at evidencing the administrative activities to safeguard the permanence of students in the educational system during times of pandemic, for which I use a methodology descriptive qualitative approach with documentary and field modality, applying the technique of observation and interview directed to the directors and teachers of the fourth year of basic general education of the Juan E. Verdesoto school, determining that if there was student desertion during this period pandemic, there are pre-established protocols for their application in cases and their proper reintegration, which in the institution studied are poorly applied.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa búsqueda de la excelencia educativa engloba integrar principios, ideas, estrategias y paradigmas que garanticen incrementar las posibilidades de éxito en las instituciones que permitan obtener la eficiencia, por mucho tiempo, los procesos que ella requiere. Lo expresado evidencia una visión de los componentes fundamentales de la administración educativa, que al incluir los conceptos de calidad, calidad total y calidad en las instituciones, llevan consigo el factor humano con las connotaciones de cultura y valores, así como los lineamientos de operación como parte de los procesos educativos desarrollados en las organizaciones escolares para la concreción de las metas y objetivos propios de la formación integral. El presente estudio de caso refiere la gestión administrativa y la deserción estudiantil, por lo tanto su objetivo está encaminado a evidenciar las actividades administrativas en resguardo de la permanencia de los estudiantes en el sistema educativo durante los tiempos de pandemia, para lo cual utilizo una metodología descriptiva de enfoque cualitativa con modalidad documental y de campo, aplicando la técnica de la observación y la entrevista dirigida a los directivos y docentes del cuarto año de educación general básica de la escuela Juan E. Verdesoto, determinando que si existió deserción estudiantil durante este periodo de pandemia, se tienen protocolos preestablecido para su aplicación en los casos y su debida reinserción, que en la institución estudiada se aplican de manera deficiente.es_ES
