This bibliographic review deals with the importance of exogenous enzymes in pig nutrition. The use of enzymes in pig nutrition can be a good alternative as an additive in rations formulated with non-traditional raw materials in order to improve feed digestibility and increase productivity in pig systems. Exogenous enzymes are catalyst additives that facilitate the use of nutrients. Currently, adding them to the feed of farm animals is a general practice that includes the productive improvement of the different species that are considered to be of zootechnical interest; It must be taken into account that adding enzyme products to the food formula creates various effects, both at a productive level and at an ecological or environmental level. In addition, it is important to recognize that enzymes are substances that act very effectively when absorbing nutrients, so adding them to the feed complements those that are produced naturally in the digestive tract of the pig, favoring the economy of the producer thanks to to the productive improvement of the pig. Through this work, relevant information is provided regarding the importance of adding digestive enzymes in food for pig production.es_ES
