| dc.description | Tourism is an activity that has generated positive footprints, but simultaneously caused negative impacts on the environment, the city of Quevedo, known as Rio City, has tourist attractions of great beauty, so it is important to promote sustainable tourism which aims to conserve material and intangible resources for future generations. At present the realization of ecological and sustainable tourist activities have increased, even so, in the city of Quevedo they are scarce, so the practice of cycle tourism will have positive impacts on environmental, economic, and cultural areas. 82% of those surveyed in the city of Quevedo stated that they had knowledge of the term cycling while 18% did not know it, 66% considered that they had not done cycling and 34% had been present in this sustainable activity, 98% of the surveyed community believe that it is important to do sustainable tourism and 96% would carry out a tourism cycle in Quevedo, all of the respondents, that is, 100% said that this tourism modality will have positive benefits in the city of Rio. Among the situations detected are found that citizens, despite knowing the definition and the way to run cycle routes, many have not done it, thus identifying the need of Quevedo population for safe cycle routes and with tourist facilities. As solutions, the creation of a tourist cycle route visiting three important tourist sites in the city is mentioned, demonstrating that in addition to fun, people will have a cultural enrichment. Since this proposal promotes sustainable tourism, encourages the use of bicycles as a means of transportation, encourages healthy habits and increases the economic, tourist, social and cultural development of the city. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El turismo es una actividad que ha generado huellas positivas, pero simultáneamente a provocado impactos negativos en el ambiente, la ciudad de Quevedo, conocida como ciudad del Rio, cuenta con atractivos turísticos de gran belleza, por lo que es importante la fomentación de turismo sostenible el cual pretende la conservación de los recursos materiales e inmateriales para las futuras generaciones. En la actualidad la realización de actividades turísticas ecológicas, y sostenibles se han incrementado, aun así, en la ciudad de Quevedo son escasas, por lo que la práctica de cicloturismo tendrá impactos positivos en áreas ambientales, económicas, culturales. Se realizaron encuestas para poder obtener respuestas reales, el 82% de los encuestados de la ciudad de Quevedo afirmaron tener conocimientos sobre el término cicloturismo mientras que el 18% no lo conoce, el 66% considera que no han realizado cicloturismo lo que indica que a pesar de saber cómo se realiza esta actividad no la ha practicado, la totalidad de los encuestados es decir el 100% manifestó que esta modalidad turística tendrá beneficios positivos en la ciudad del Rio. Entre las situaciones detectadas se encontró que la ciudadanía, pese a conocer la definición y la forma de ejecutar ciclo rutas, muchos no lo han realizado, identificando así la necesidad de los Quevedeños por ciclo rutas seguras y con facilidades turísticas. Como soluciones se menciona la creación de una ciclo ruta turística visitando tres sitios turísticos importantes de la ciudad, demostrando que a más de diversión, las personas tendrán un enriquecimiento cultural. Dado que esta propuesta impulsa el turismo sostenible, fomenta el uso de la bicicleta como medio de trasporte, incentiva hábitos saludables e incrementa el desarrollo económico, turístico, social y cultural del cantón. | es_ES |
