| dc.description | This research project has investigated the content on digital platforms and their impact on the credibility of the media: the daily case "La Hora" and "Al Día", Quevedo canton, in order to establish how important verification is of the information that is transmitted in the informative sites on the web, since the veracity and trust will depend on this, creating fidelity on the part of the audience towards said virtual communication media. This research study was carried out based on the results obtained from the interview with the owners of both digital communication platforms, thus obtaining a broad contrast in this comparative analysis. Having established this, it was determined according to what was heard in the interviews that said media comply with certain regulations for the correct transmission of information, thus avoiding the possible misrepresentation of the informational content and the discrediting of the credibility of the aforementioned media. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente proyecto investigativo se ha indagado sobre los contenidos en las plataformas digitales y su impacto en la credibilidad de los medios: caso diario “La Hora” y “Al Día”, cantón Quevedo, con la finalidad de establecer cuán importante es la verificación de la información que es transmitida en las sitios informativos en la web, ya que de esto dependerá la veracidad y confianza creando fidelidad por parte de la audiencia hacia dichos medios de comunicación virtual. Este estudio de investigación se llevó a cabo fundamentándonos en los resultados obtenidos de la entrevista realizada a los gerentes de ambas plataformas de comunicación digital, obteniendo así un contraste amplio en este análisis comparativo. Establecido esto, se determinó según lo escuchado en las entrevista que dichos medios de comunicación cumplen con ciertos reglamentos para la correcta transmisión de una información, evitando así la posible tergiversación del contenido informativo y la desacreditación de la credibilidad de los medios antes mencionados. | es_ES |
