| dc.description | The following is a case study that addresses the analysis of the different literary works taken to the cinema, beginnings and development of Ecuadorian cinema. The objective is to identify why a literary work is taken to the cinema, the relevance it has today, and at the same time to determine the beginnings and development of Ecuadorian cinema. In addition, we will identify the problems that exist today in terms of development, quality, universal themes, and screen quotas, the little support that the government has for the arts and culture of our country is worrisome because all this encompasses our history and customs. We will also analyze a result obtained through surveys and interviews that will strengthen our theoretical support, based on public and professional opinions by experts in cinematography. We will conclude that cinema as a means of communication is within the reach of the citizen and is an art, our country is full of imagination, stories rich in information, and the necessary resources to produce feature films, documentaries, cinema, etc. Finally, as a recommendation it is important that topics like this have their place and space in the country, mainly to encourage young people and adults to consume what is ours, so that we have more people interested and motivated to work, direct and produce a film space and not only that, but so that in this way we can expand internationally and address universal themes. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Se presenta a continuación un estudio de caso que aborda el análisis de las diferentes obras literarias llevada al cine, inicios y desarrollo del cine ecuatoriano. El objetivo a cumplir es identificar por qué una obra literaria es llevada al cine, la relevancia que tiene el mismo en la actualidad al mismo tiempo que se determinara los inicios y desarrollo del cine ecuatoriano. Además, se identificará la problemática que existe hoy en día en cuanto al desarrollo, calidad, temas universales, y las cuotas de pantallas, el poco apoyo que se tiene por parte del gobierno hacia las artes y cultura de nuestro es preocupante porque todo esto engloba nuestra historia y costumbres. También se analizará un resultado obtenido por medio de encuestas y entrevistas que fortalecerá nuestro sustento teórico, basándose en opiniones públicas y profesional por parte de expertos en cinematografía. Llegando a la conclusión que el cine como medio de comunicación está al alcance del ciudadano y es un arte, nuestro país está lleno de imaginación, historias ricas en información, y los recursos necesarios para producir largometrajes, documentales, cine, etc. Finalmente, como recomendación es importante que temas como este, tengan su lugar y espacio en el país, principalmente incentivar a los jóvenes y adultos a consumir lo nuestro, para que así tengamos más personas interesadas y motivadas en trabajar, dirigir y producir un espacio cinematográfico y no solo eso, sino para que de esa forma podamos extendernos internacionalmente y abordar temas universales. | es_ES |
