dc.descriptionThis research is developed with the objective of analyzing the Ecuadorian media, taking as a sample the news segment of the TC channel, to establish if there is a relationship between the established beauty fee and the hiring in said media. It will be analyzed whether the media are inclusive with their screen protagonists or whether they rely on an image to select their presenters. This work is based on the application of a qualitative methodology, which seeks to analyze the acceptance of viewers by the characters shown on the screen, and a previous investigation of the general panorama that exists on current canons and their relationship with television, taking as main documentary references, PDF documents, secure websites and opinions from experts in the field. With the results obtained from the investigations and methodologies, it will be sought to clarify the panorama that is lived on the screen, whether it is inclusive or selective. This research has allowed to generate an approach towards the reality that is lived on screen and its internal management, by analyzing each segment and establishing relationships between its characters, it is possible to know a lot about what the internal environment of each channel is like and if its objective is professionalism. before populism.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se desarrolla con el objetivo de analizar los medios de comunicación ecuatoriana, tomando como muestra al segmento de noticias del canal TC, para establecer si existe una relación entre el canon de belleza establecido y la contratación en dicho medio de comunicación. Se analizará si en los medios de comunicación son inclusivos con sus protagonistas de pantalla o si se basan en una imagen para seleccionar a sus presentadores. Este trabajo se sustenta en la aplicación de una metodología cualitativa, que busca analizar la aceptación de los televidentes por los personajes mostrados en pantalla, y una investigación previa del panorama general que existe sobre los cánones actuales y su relación con la televisión, tomando como principal referencia documentales, documentos en PDF, sitios web seguros y opiniones dichas por expertos del área. Con los resultados obtenidos de las investigaciones y metodologías se buscará esclarecer el panorama que se vive en la pantalla, si es inclusivo o selectivo. Esta investigación ha permitido generar una aproximación hacia la realidad que se vive en pantalla y su manejo interno, al analizar cada segmento y establecer relaciones entre sus personajes se puede saber mucho de cómo es el ambiente interno de cada canal y si su objetivo es el profesionalismo antes que el populismo.es_ES
