dc.descriptionThe global agricultural System shows changes both from the supply side and in its product diversification of its demand in relation to consumer requirements, in the Babahoyo Canton there are a series of variables when it comes to marketing products. It is important to mention that the tomato fruit is available all year round the majority of the tomato commercialization process is located in the part of Santa Elena in the Valleys of Riobamba, Azuay, Carchi, and in the Province of Lo Rios – Quevedo. However, doctors certify that tomato is an effective appetite stimulant in both children and adults. Therefore, it is recommended to administer it daily to children who have problems eating due to lack of appetite, since tomato contains iron and vitamin K which helps prevent blood clotting and keeps it in good condition. For the development of this document, bibliographic information was collected from books, websites, magazines, newspapers and scientific articles. Where reference is made to the commercialization of this fruit and how it is the livelihood for many families that cultivate it in obtaining economic resources, due to the consumption that is generated by the benefits that the tomato provides. Adding something else, it is important to mention that in the research it was possible to know the answers to the unknowns that arose where the surveys carried out with the merchants resulted in that the merchants acquire the tomato clearly from the sierra region, also on the frequency in the one that the tomato is sold among other important questions made in the surveys. Last but not least, it is to refer to how the commercialization is in the Babahoyo canton markets such as on May 4, Elías arias and Barrio Lindo, Which we can say that the commercialization is very good in some markets, while in Others are very bad, due to the customer service that merchants have and little variety of their products, but in some stands of the market the customer service was excellent.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl sistema agro mundial muestra cambios tanto desde el lado de la oferta como en su diversificación de productos de su demanda en relación a los requerimientos de los consumidores, en el Cantón Babahoyo existe una serie de variables a la hora de la comercialización de productos. Es importante mencionar que el fruto del tomate está disponible todo el año, la mayoría del proceso de comercialización tomateros está ubicada en la parte de Santa Elena en los Valles de Riobamba, Azuay, Carchi, y en la Provincia de Los Ríos – Quevedo. No obstante, los médicos certifican que el tomate es un eficaz estimulante del apetito tanto en niños como adultos. Por ello se recomienda administrarlo diariamente a los niños que tienen problemas para alimentarse por falta de apetito, puesto que el tomate contiene hierro y vitamina K lo cual ayuda a evitar la coagulación de la sangre y la mantiene en un buen estado. Para el desarrollo del presente documento se recolecto información bibliográfica de libros, sitios web, revistas, periódicos y artículos científicos. Donde se hace referencia a la comercialización de esta fruta y como es el sustento para muchas familias que lo cultivan en obtener recursos económicos, por el consumo que se genera por los beneficios que brinda el tomate. Adicionando algo más, es importante mencionar que en la investigación se logró conocer las respuestas a las incógnitas que se planteó en donde las encuestas realizadas a los comerciantes dieron como resultado que los comerciantes adquieren el tomate netamente de la región sierra, también sobre la frecuencia en la que se vende el tomate entre otras cuestiones importantes realizadas en las encuestas. Por último y no menos importante es hacer referencia a como es la comercialización en los mercados del cantón Babahoyo como en el 4 de Mayo, Elías Arias y Barrio Lindo, lo cual podemos decir que la comercialización en muy buena en algunos mercados, mientras que en otros es muy mala, debido a la atención al cliente que tienen los comerciantes y poca variedad de sus productos, pero en cambió en algunos Stand de los mercado la atención al cliente era excelente.es_ES
