dc.description | During these times, there has been a greater use of social networks in subjects in the university context. A study is presented that systematizes the conceptions of students and teachers about WhatsApp, in relation to its usefulness in practice and in the development of subjects that enable and promote its management inside and outside the classroom, as something more than a means of direct contact with the teacher.
The results and conclusions point to the use of social networks as a didactic resource that promotes and facilitates collaborative exchange between students and teachers.
WhatsApp was used to resolve student concerns and have a direct and permanent channel of communication with them. Technological communication networks have become a tool that allows collaborative learning and involves information exchange spaces that encourage cooperation. One of the most representative tools of Web 2.0, for example, social networks, should not be ignored for its study, since its roots and fascination in students are an enormous didactic possibility; its use in the Technical University of Babahoyo, is increasingly notorious.

dc.description.abstract | Durante estos tiempos se ha experimentado un mayor uso de redes sociales en asignaturas del contexto universitario. Se presenta un estudio que sistematiza las concepciones del alumnado y profesorado sobre Whatsapp, en lo referente a su utilidad en la práctica y en el desarrollo de las asignaturas que posibilitan y fomentan su manejo dentro y fuera del aula, como algo más que una vía de contacto directo con el docente.
Whatsapp se usó para resolver inquietudes de los estudiantes y tener un canal directo y permanente de comunicación con ellos. Las redes tecnológicas de comunicación se han convertido en una herramienta que permite el aprendizaje colaborativo e involucra espacios de intercambio de información que fomentan la cooperación. Una de las herramientas más representativas de la Web 2.0, por ejemplo, las redes sociales, no deben ser obviadas para su estudio, ya que su arraigo y fascinación en los alumnos son una posibilidad didáctica enorme; su uso en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, es cada vez más notorio.
Los resultados y conclusiones apuntan el uso de las redes sociales como recurso didáctico que promueve y facilita el intercambio colaborativo entre estudiantes y docentes y a su vez la falta del internet para interactuar. | es_ES |
