| dc.description | The purpose of this case study is to determine the factors that limit the tourist potential of the area, this exploratory research made use of the techniques of the survey of the population of the area, the interview Al Lcdo. Oscar Santillán president of the Parish Board, as well as a SWOT that allowed determining crucial points in this study. The findings show that the factors wich avoid in La Isla de Bejucal river does not develop its potential are flooding in winter times and drought in summer, a notable contamination by its inhabitants and total abandonment and neglect of the natural resources of the place. Finally, this study offers a perspective that will allow new research in the future to repower the island's river and turn it into a tourist site where the inhabitants of this parish will benefit. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente Estudio de caso tiene como propósito determinar los factores que limitan el potencial turístico del Río de la Parroquia Isla de Bejucal, esta investigación exploratoria hizo uso de las técnicas de la encuesta a la población de la zona, la entrevista al Lcdo. Oscar Santillán presidente de la Junta Parroquial, así como también un FODA que permitió determinar puntos cruciales en este estudio. Como resultados se pudo establecer que los factores que inciden para que el rio Isla de Bejucal no desarrolle su potencial están vinculados con problemas de inundaciones en épocas invernales y sequía en verano, una notable contaminación por parte de sus habitantes y total abandono y descuido de los recursos naturales del lugar. Finalmente, este estudio ofrece una perspectiva que permitirá en un futuro nuevas investigaciones para repotenciar el río de la isla y convertirlo en un sitio turístico donde se vean beneficiados los habitantes de esta parroquia. | es_ES |
