dc.description | The present research project with the theme "CHANGE OF THE INSTITUTIONAL IMAGE OF LA ESPOL 2019" is proposed in order to analyze the redesign of the institutional image, to identify the visual message that it wants to project, for which the qualitative method was used through direct observation, interviews with different experts in design, visual communication and marketing, in the same way bibliographic research, which established relevant information according to the topic. For this reason, in the case analysis, main contents are exposed that reflect the importance of an image as such, likewise, essential guidelines were obtained before redesigning a brand, as well as the challenges that are assumed when presenting a new one. image, as in the case of the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Litoral, the repercussions and criticisms that were generated at the time due to the disappearance of the “Polito” turtle. dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación con el tema “CAMBIO DE IMAGEN INSTITUCIONAL DE LA ESPOL 2019” se propone con la finalidad de analizar el rediseño de la imagen institucional, para identificar el mensaje visual que quiere proyectar, para el cual se utilizó el método cualitativo mediante la observación directa, las entrevistas realizadas a diferentes expertos en diseño, comunicación visual y marketing, del mismo modo la investigación bibliográfica, lo cual se estableció información relevante de acuerdo al tema. Por esta razón en el análisis de caso se expone contenidos principales que reflejan la importancia de una imagen como tal, así mismo se obtuvo pautas esenciales antes de rediseñar una marca, al igual que los retos que se asume al momento de dar a conocer una nueva imagen, como el caso de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Litoral, la repercusión y críticas que se generaron en su momento debido a la desaparición de la tortuga “Polito”. La ESPOL es una institución ecuatoriana prestigiosa que lleva años de trayectoria, por lo que sin duda alguna siguen innovando en el ámbito de la investigación y ciencia, por lo que con el rediseño presentando se pudo determinar que su identidad visual está dirigida a una sociedad de cambios, donde se espera tener un acercamiento más amplio con el público en general. | es_ES |
