dc.descriptionThis study focuses on cultural traditions and their tourist contribution to the development of the Babahoyo City, this being an agricultural area with numerous socio-cultural and religious activities celebrated throughout the year. For the collection of the information, this study was based on the qualitative and quantitative design through documented, diagnostic and descriptive research supported by the survey, interview and observation techniques, which helped determine the current situation, determining that there is a waste of the tributary, since it is not used to boost tourism. Due to this, it was concluded that this resource should be used since river tourism since it is proven around the world that it is a dynamic activityes_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio se centra en las tradiciones culturales y su aporte turístico al desarrollo de la ciudad de Babahoyo, siendo esta una zona agrícola con numerosas actividades socio cultural y religiosas celebradas durante todo el año. Para el levantamiento de la información de este estudio se basó en el diseño cualitativo y cuantitativo por medio de la investigación documentada, diagnóstica y descriptiva soportada en las técnicas de encuesta, entrevista y observación, mismas que ayudaron a determinar la situación actual, determinando que existe un desaprovechamiento del afluente, puesto que no es utilizado para impulsar el turismo. Debido a esto, se concluyó que se debe aprovechar dicho recurso puesto que el turismo fluvial está comprobado alrededor del mundo que es una actividad dinamizadora.es_ES
