The study to determine the chemical control in the freckle of the strawberry leaf (Mycosphaerella fragraria) in the Albion variety, in the cultivation, was executed in the area of Intihuaycopungo, Otavalo canton, Imbabura Province. The life zone corresponds to the Montano Bajo humid forest floor (bh-MB) with temperatures of 18 ° C, 2703 meters above sea level. Regarding the percentage of disease incidence, percentage of disease severity significant differences were determined; The efficiency of fungicides showed that the Albion strawberry variety with the “Opera” control method was the most effective. Against fungicide Cantus according to statistics and is recommended with an application frequency of 30 days.

El estudio para determinar el control químico en la peca de la hoja de fresa (Mycosphaerella fragraria) en la variedad Albión, en el cultivo, se ejecutó en la zona de Intihuaycopungo, cantón Otavalo, Provincia de Imbabura. La zona de vida corresponde al piso bosque húmedo Montano Bajo (bh-MB) con temperaturas de 18 °C, altitud de 2703 msnm. En cuanto al Porcentaje de incidencia de la enfermedad, porcentaje de severidad de la enfermedad se determinaron diferencias significativas; la eficiencia de los fungicidas evidencio que la variedad de fresa Albión con el método de control “Opera” fue el más efectivo. Frente al fungicida Cantus según la estadística y se recomienda con una frecuencia de aplicación de 30 días.
