dc.descriptionBackground: Normal nutritional status is related to healthy eating habits that allow you to maintain and prevent relationships such as cardiovascular and metabolic problems, among other things. Objective: To determine the relationship between nutritional status and eating habits in schoolchildren of the Francisco Huerta Rendón Educational Unit during the period November 2024 - May 2025. Material and method: Quali-quantitative correlational approach, 60 schoolchildren from the educational institution participated. Nutritional status was measured through anthropometric measurements appropriate to the age of the schoolchildren. They were evaluated through a questionnaire of questions prepared by the authors that will allow us to obtain data related to the objectives in order to give them answers to what was proposed. To carry out this research, bibliographies were consulted on the topics involved in the project, for which the Google academic platform, Google school, was used, taking references to scientific articles and pdf documents, duly cited and with relevant information for the research. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is concluded that there is a relationship between nutritional status and eating habits in school-aged children, taking into account food policies and food culture. Malnutrition rates decrease when there is no knowledge about nutrition, proper food choices, and proper cooking.es_ES

dc.description.abstractAntecedentes: El estado de nutrición normal está relacionado con los hábitos alimenticios saludable que le permite mantener y prevenir relaciones como problema cardiovascular, metabólico, entre otras cosas. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estado nutricional y los hábitos alimenticios en los escolares de la Unidad Educativa Francisco Huerta Rendón durante el periodo noviembre 2024 - mayo 2025. Material y método: Enfoque cuali-cuantitativo correlacional, participaron 60 escolares de la institución educativa. El estado nutricional se midió a través medidas antropométricas adecuadas a la edad de los escolares se evaluaron a través de un cuestionario de preguntas elaborado por las autoras que nos permitirá obtener datos relacionados a los objetivos con la finalidad de darles respuestas a lo propuesto. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación se realizó consultar en bibliografías sobre los temas involucrados en el proyecto, por el cual se recurrió a la plataforma de Google académico, Google school, tomando referencias los artículos científicos y documentos pdf, debidamente citadas y con información relevante para la investigación. Conclusión: Según los resultados encontrados se concluye que, si existe relación entre el estado nutricional y hábitos alimenticios en niños de edad escolar, tomando en cuenta las políticas alimentarias y cultura alimentaria que cuando no existe conocimiento alguno de alimentación, elección correcta de alimentos y cocciones, los índices de malnutrición disminuyen.es_ES
